Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of TourneyMap (“the Service”), operated by Jokaero (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

TourneyMap is an interactive map application for discovering and tracking tabletop gaming tournaments worldwide (initially Blood Bowl, expanding to other game systems). The Service allows users to view tournament listings, plan attendance, and track travel logistics.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information during registration (including your NAF number if applicable). We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that contain fraudulent information.

4. User Content

Content you add to the Service (attendance status, checklist items, notes) remains yours. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and display this content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

5. Tournament Data

Tournament listings are sourced from the NAF (“Naf After Football”) database at member.thenaf.net and are updated automatically. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data. Always verify tournament details directly with the organiser before making travel arrangements.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data;
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute tournament data without permission;
• Impersonate another person or NAF member.

7. Intellectual Property

The TourneyMap name, logo, and original code are the property of Jokaero. Tournament data belongs to the NAF. You may not reproduce or redistribute any part of the Service without prior written permission.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for any losses arising from inaccurate tournament information, travel decisions made based on the Service, or temporary unavailability of the Service.

Travel time and route information is provided by Google Maps and Mapbox and is indicative only. Always check current travel conditions before committing to arrangements.

9. Payments

The Service is currently free of charge. If paid features are introduced in the future, you will be notified and given the opportunity to accept updated Terms before any charges apply.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, Jokaero shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed CHF 100.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or via a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Zurich.
