Team Build Rules
You are given 1,150,000 gold pieces to build your team. You may purchase players, rerolls, fan factor, coaches, and cheerleaders as normal with this money.
Wizards, Journeymen, Special Play cards of any kind, Mercenaries, and the Halfling Hot Pot are NOT ALLOWED. You may purchase any other inducements for your team, including Star Players Note: If you are including a Star Player you must have 11 players on your team BEFORE hiring them. Remember: You can not have the same Star Player as your opponent. We will be using the Highlander rule, so if you and your opponent hire the same star they will play for neither team.
Snow Brawl does not like show offs at least not ones we have not personally guided and therefore NO Mega Stars are permitted. If you have a Star Player on your roster, you are expected to explain the "Special Rule" to your opponent.

Special Rule: Snow Brawl
At the start of each drive both teams randomly select 2 of your players on the pitch who receive one snowball. Instead of performing a Block action (on its own or as part of a Blitz action), this player may use a “Snow ball attack” special action. You may either throw the snowball or smack a marked player with the snowball. If you elect to use a snowball you may move beforehand, but after your movement will end.
If thrown you may throw the snowball the same range as a quick pass, and then test its accuracy using the player's passing stat. If accurate the player makes an armor roll with a -1 modifier against the target, otherwise the snowball hits the ground
If you are marking a target player you may choose to smack them with the snowball instead, and make an armor roll with a -1 modifier
If the Armor of the player hit is broken, they become Prone and an Injury roll is made against them, This Injury roll cannot be modified in any way. If the Armor of the player hit is not broken, this has no effect. Each snowball may only be used once and is lost at the end of each drive.
During each round, you will fill out a score sheet to track your progress. At the end of the match, you will add up the scoring as follows:
• A WIN is 60 points
• A DRAW is 30 points
• A LOSS is 10 points
• If you lose by 1 TD, you earn +2 bonus points
• If you cause 1 more CAS that would generate SPP than your opponent, you earn +2 bonus points
• If you caused 2 or more CAS that would generate SPP than your opponent, you earn +5 bonus points (does not stack with the +2)
• If you win by 2 Touchdowns you earn +2 bonus points
• If you win by 3 Touchdowns or more you earn +5 bonus points (does not stack with the +2)
• There is no championship game, the standings will solely be determined by total points. In the case of a tie, head to head results will be taken into account, including bonus points against that opponent, followed by strength of schedule (total points earned by all opponents), followed by a coin flip.
