Time for the 3rd installment of Turkey Brawl, and this time, the Turkey Strikes Back! In previous installments, we had Turkey star players The DOOM Turkey and the Terror Turkey. In this year's installment, there will be no turkey stars... and NO MEGA STARS (They're too busy feasting on Turkey after a long year) Additionally, everyone who signs up for the tournament and plays will get a RANDOM low-level inducement that they can use for the entirety of the tournament (think of a mascot, keg, apothecary, etc)
Roster building: In the spirit of Thanksgiving, teams will be given 1.25 million GP to use to build their team. This can include players, rerolls, assistant coaches, cheerleaders, normal star players (also cost 12 SPP), and all inducements EXCEPT Wizards, Special Play Cards, and mercenaries (no GIANTS in this tournament). Max 2 star players and Highlander is in effect. Tiers are based off of GW tiers (stunty Underworld, stunty Lizards, stunty Black Orcs will be Tier 3)
Tier 1 teams will receive 36 SPP. Tier 2 teams will receive 48 SPP. Tier 3 teams will receive 60 SPP. Primary skills cost 6 SPP. Secondary Skills cost 12 SPP. Max 3 of one skill (3 block, 3 guard, etc.) Skill stacking is allowed with Primaries only and will cost 8 SPP for the 2nd skill(cannot have more than 2 skills on one player)
Scoring will be 3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, 0 points for a loss (concessions will effect negatively unless the rules for a concession are met in the rulebook) tiebreakers will be head-to-head record first, followed by net TD, and then casualties caused. Casualties from blocks, fouls, crowd surfs, or special actions (bomb, chainsaw, vomit, etc) will count. Failed activations (failed dodge, failed rush, chainsaw kickback, vomit, fumbled bomb, animal savagery, bloodlust) will NOT count for casualties caused.
Payment will be $15 if you are registered through NAF, $20 if you are not registered through NAF to be paypaled to nacasavant96@gmail.com
Roster submission will be sent to the nacasavant96@gmail.com as well
Rosters and payment are due by Nov. 20th
We will be recognizing the tournament winner, runner-up, most TDs, most casualties, and the wooden LADLE will go to the winner of the bottom table.
Spot-prizes and such will be awarded throughout as well, and we will also be doing a BB Swap, so if anyone has dice or patches from past tournaments or leagues they may have extras of, feel free to bring them with you and trade amongst yourselves. I will be giving dice from my previous league as spot prizes throughout the tournament.
