The tournament takes place in the evening during the Cholet Bowl, to introduce BB7 outside of the BB11 rounds.
1.1 Basic rules The tournament will be played in "Resurrection" mode (deaths, injuries and other experience points gained during the previous match are not taken into account for the next match, and linemen gained during previous matches will be lost). All non-optional rules from BB2025 will be used for this tournament, as well as the application of the latest FAQs.
1.2 Boosts Only the boosts listed below are allowed:
One Desperate Measure is kindly offered for the tournament (usable in only 1 match).
2.1 List of allowed rosters The allowed rosters are those included in the BB2025 rulebook. In addition to these rosters, the Slann roster from the NAF document is allowed. Rosters published after November 1, 2026 will not be allowed (unless it's the Squigs).
2.2 Roster creation
2.3 Determining Categories
4.1 Placement At the start of the match, after the pre-match sequence has been resolved, both coaches must place their teams, starting with the coach who kicks off (throws the ball).
Players must be placed in the engagement zone, which is between their end zone and the engagement line of their half of the field.
Only one player may be placed in each side zone, and at least 3 players must be placed in the central area of their engagement line. (If this is not possible, the player may decide to concede the match)
4.2 Kickoff Once both teams are placed, the coach who kicks off designates a player from his team, who is neither in a side zone nor on the engagement line (unless reduced to 3 players). That player performs the kickoff.
The coach places the ball wherever he wants in the central part or the opposing part of the field, whether the square is occupied or not. Once the ball is placed, the deviation roll must be made.
Deviation roll: roll 2d6 and choose the smaller result (number of squares of movement) and 1d8 (direction). If the ball lands on a player, he may attempt to catch the ball. If he fails, the ball bounces one square on 1d8. If the ball lands on an empty square, the ball bounces one square on 1d8.
If the ball ends up off the pitch or in the opposing engagement zone, the coach who receives the ball may place it wherever he wants (including on a player).
4.3 Fouls The referee is also an amateur... Foul detection rolls therefore succeed on a 5+.
4.4 Throw-in When the ball goes out of bounds, the crowd throws it back into play. To do this, roll 1d6 for direction and 1d6+2 for the ball's movement distance.
4.4 Stalling If a player could score without having to roll any dice and ends his activation without scoring a Touchdown, then he is considered to be stalling. In this case, roll a D3+1, and if the result of this roll is equal to or greater than the number of the current turn, the stalling player is tackled, and this results in a Turnover.
Standings will be determined using the following tiebreakers, in this order:
