These regulations provide the information necessary to register and play in the tournament. Matches will follow the competitive package indicated below; organizational decisions affecting schedule, scoring, and sanctions are detailed expressly.
To request a place, contact the organization by email at alarcosbowl@gmail.com; before that you must contact via WhatsApp at 674 487 811 (Guillegarcas). Your place will be confirmed once the organization has verified availability and received payment.
Registration costs 10 € and includes two personalized D6 dice, a beverage (soft drink, water, or beer), participation in raffles, and access to tournament prizes.
Payment must be made before 1 December 2026 to the following IBAN: ES18 3190 2082 2363 5431 1026, name Asociación Guardia de Alarcos. Payment details will be provided when your place is confirmed; indicate "Name - Alarcos Bowl" as the transfer reference.
The tournament will count towards NAF ranking. Any player not yet registered with NAF may register (NAF registration is not mandatory to play).
Upon confirming registration, the organization will send the roster template to prepare your team. The roster must be created via the BBTOURNAMENTS website (https://bbtournaments.es/) and subsequently submitted as a PDF before 10 December 2026, in accordance with the tournament's rule package.
Matches will be played with Blood Bowl 2025 (Season 3), applying the NAF World Cup Malta 2027 competitive package available at: https://nafwc.com/rules/
That package regulates team building and competitive options (budget, skills, incentives, and Star Players). Official BB2025 rules and current errata will also apply, unless the NAFWC package expressly indicates otherwise. The organization will communicate any relevant updates before the tournament.
Each coach must bring the prepared roster and necessary game materials. The organization will resolve rule questions during the event and its decisions will be final for the tournament.
Each round lasts two hours; fifteen minutes are reserved between rounds to record results and publish pairings.
Four Swiss rounds will be played, pairing similar scores and avoiding repeated matchups whenever possible. If a withdrawal leaves an odd number of coaches, a bye will be assigned according to NAF rules: it counts as a win for points purposes, with no touchdowns or casualties for tiebreakers.
Scoring per match:
In case of a tie in points, the following criteria will be applied in this order:
Match results must be verified and reported to the organization by both coaches before the next round's pairings are published.
Each round has a two-hour limit. The organization will announce the start and end of each round. If a match reaches the limit, it will stop at the end of the turn being played and the result will be recorded at that moment.
If a coach requests time control, the organization may provide a clock and apply the four-minute-per-turn rule provided for in the tournament. The organization may also activate time control if it observes deliberately slow play. The indication will be communicated to both coaches and applied uniformly.
A coach who arrives more than 15 minutes late from the announced start of the round will forfeit the choice of kickoff to their opponent; the match will begin as soon as they arrive and the round limit will not be extended. If they exceed 25 minutes late, they will lose the match by non-appearance and their opponent will receive 10 tournament points while the absent coach receives 0 points. No touchdowns or casualties will be assigned for tiebreakers in an unplayed match. If both coaches are absent or there is an exceptional incident, the organization will set the result and communicate it to those affected.
The organization will handle rule queries, record results, and resolve issues affecting the tournament's development. For rounds to begin on time, coaches must be at their table and ready to play at the announced time. Any changes to these regulations will be communicated to all participants before being applied. The tournament will be presented for NAF approval; if approved, match results will be communicated to NAF according to its requirements.
