Dice Days Speed Bowl

Entry to the Dice Days is included in the price.

Clock Requirements

Each player must bring either a chess clock or have a chess clock app installed on their phone before the tournament.

Tournament Format

Rounds: 5 rounds will be played.

Time Limit: Each player gets 30 minutes per game.

Pre-Game Procedure

• Teams are briefly introduced.
• Agreement is reached on which chess clock will be used. A physical chess clock is preferred over a phone app.
• Brief discussion on handling miniatures and dice.
• Play begins promptly.

Game Clock

• The clock starts with the kickoff of the first half.
• At halftime there is a short pause of approximately one minute. The field is reset. Time restarts with the kickoff.
• When a Touchdown occurs that does not end the half/game, the clock continues running for the player who is setting up.
• If any decision through a skill (e.g., Sidestep) occurs during the opponent's turn, the active player can start the opponent's clock.

Referee Request Option

Each player has the option to call a referee once per half.

• Stop the clock and briefly call "Judge".
• If this option is abused, a time penalty of 1-5 minutes can be imposed. This does not affect the game result but applies to scoring.

Team Setup

Budget: 1,150,000 Gold Pieces are available for pure team setup. Team setup includes all expenses except acquiring additional skills.

Tier 3 - 160,000 Gold (1x secondary skills allowed)

Tier 4 - 170,000 Gold (2x secondary skills allowed)
