It will allow, among other things:
Coaches must register or import their roster into the application according to the procedures communicated by the organization.
Each participant must be able to use a phone, tablet, or other connected device during the tournament.
Each coach has 1,200,000 gold pieces to build their team.
This sum can be used to buy:
Minimum number of players
The roster must include at least 11 players.
Star Players count towards this minimum when recruited.
Mandatory inducements
Each team must spend a minimum of 50,000 gold pieces on inducements.
All inducements (EXCEPT THE WIZARD) allowed by the Rulebook may be used.
The Giant
The Giant is allowed for a cost of 350,000 gold pieces. The Giant only benefits from Mighty Blow (+1).
To balance the tournament, teams are divided into four categories.
Category 1
6 skill points 1 Instinct of the Bleiz 1 Star Player maximum
Category 2
8 skill points 2 Instincts of the Bleiz 2 Star Players maximum
Category 3
9 skill points 3 Instincts of the Bleiz 2 Star Players maximum
Category 4
10 skill points 4 Instincts of the Bleiz 2 Star Players maximum
Each team receives a number of skill points depending on its category.
These points are used to assign additional skills to players when creating the roster.
Star Players cannot receive additional skills.
Cost of skills
There is no overall limit to the number of primary skills that can be assigned.
However, the number of secondary skills assigned is limited according to category:
One skill per player
A player may only receive one skill assigned through skill points.
This limitation applies only to skills assigned during roster creation.
A player who has received a skill may still reveal an Instinct of the Bleiz.
"In Gwidel, skills are chosen. Instincts are revealed."
The following skills may each be assigned a maximum of 3 times in the same roster:
This limit applies to skills assigned during roster creation.
Star Players can be recruited normally using the 1,200,000 gold piece budget.
They also require the use of skill points:
Number of Star Players
Mega-Stars
Mega-Stars cost 4 skill points.
Only one Mega-Star may be recruited per team.
Authorized Mega-Stars are:
Champion 2025
Star Players from the official Champion 2025 list are allowed according to the terms defined by the official document.
If two teams face the same Star Player, both may play him.
"When you come to Gwidel, something awakens in you…"
Some call it luck. Others, madness. We call it the Instinct of the Bleiz.
The Instinct of the Bleiz represents a set of special skills that coaches can reveal in their players.
Each category has a set number of Instincts of the Bleiz:
Revealing an Instinct
When creating their roster, the coach chooses which players reveal the Instinct of the Bleiz and which skill each receives.
Thus, a player may have:
1 assigned skill + 1 Instinct of the Bleiz.
This is the only normal way to obtain two additional skills on the same player during roster creation.
Restrictions
An Instinct of the Bleiz necessarily corresponds to a primary skill, except for the exceptions indicated below.
Instincts of the Bleiz cannot be assigned to players with the Really Stupid... (note: "Gros Bras" trait, likely "Big Hand"/"Strong" trait) trait, except for Category 3 and 4 teams.
Category 4 teams may choose up to 2 secondary skills among their 4 Instincts of the Bleiz.
The Instinct of the Bleiz skills
Agility
Strength
General
Mutation
Passing
Trickery
Each skill can only be revealed once per team.
Instinct and Prayers to Nuffle
Prayers to Nuffle are an exception.
When a Prayer to Nuffle allows a player to obtain Pro or Mighty Blow (+1), that player can exceptionally reach three additional skills:
This is the only authorized way to obtain this combination.
"In Gwidel, skills are chosen.
Instincts are revealed.
And sometimes, the Bleiz wants even more."
Each coach and their opponent will check their respective team sheets.
We are among gentlemen.
Any error found in a roster may be submitted to the organization.
In case of disagreement regarding the interpretation of a rule, both coaches are invited to reach an agreement.
If no agreement is possible, the organization's decision will be final for the tournament.
The organization reserves the right to modify or clarify these rules if a particular situation requires it.
Match result
Touchdowns
+3 points per touchdown scored
Casualties from fouls
+3 points per casualty caused by a foul.
Casualties
+2 points per casualty caused.
All casualties count, regardless of origin:
Thus, a casualty caused by one of your own players during a failed action is counted as a casualty suffered by your opponent and therefore earns you the corresponding points.
In case of a tie in the standings, the following criteria will be applied in this order.
Touchdowns scored - touchdowns conceded
Only casualties directly caused by:
are counted.
The difference is calculated as follows:
Block/blitz casualties caused - block/blitz casualties suffered
Casualties caused by a foul, the crowd, a failed dodge, a failed GFI, a stab, a Vampire bite, or another special ability do not count in this tiebreaker.
After five rounds, some will have dominated the pack, others will have shown their fangs, and a few will mostly have discovered that Nuffle decided to abandon them.
The Gwidel Bleiz Trophy rewards performance, but also feats, bursts of madness, and great disasters.
Bleiz Meur - 1st in the general standings
The leader of the pack, the one who finishes at the top.
Bleiz Alfa - 2nd in the general standings
The first pursuer of the Bleiz Meur.
Bleiz Omega - 3rd in the general standings
