Registration
- Registration page: https://bbtournaments.es/tournament/xi-mezquita-bowl
- There will be a maximum of 80 places available (with the possibility of adding a few more).
- Registration is complete once payment has been made and the roster uploaded to the website.
- In addition to the usual pair of dice, there is a new Mezquita coin (design to be revealed soon), which will be given in the Registration Pack on the day of the tournament, along with the dice, food tickets, and a few other gifts.
- The deadline for registration and payment is November 8th.
- Rosters will be opened a few days beforehand in the bbtournaments manager for review.
- As registrations fill up, a WhatsApp broadcast group will be created to add participants; this group will be used to remind people of important tournament matters, round summaries, standings, draws, etc. It will also be useful in the days before the tournament for important communications such as possible rule changes, banning of dwarf teams...
- Payment and registration control will be managed exclusively through the bbtournaments website. There will be no traditional "interested players" list - registration is done directly on the website, which is fairer for everyone.
Price and Payment
- 40€ NAF and Non-NAF (breakfast, lunch, a drink, and coffee included).
- 20€ NAF and Non-NAF, special price for players' children. Let's help out those parents who bring their kids to play tournaments!
- All money raised will go towards prizes.
Payment via Bizum: 669257353 - Carlos Maillo
Concept: Mezquita Bowl - Province - Player's Nickname
Format
- Resurrection format, 4 rounds, no final.
- Matches will last 2 hours and 15 minutes maximum, with the possibility of applying the 4-minutes-per-turn rule. We recommend using a clock with 67 total minutes per player.
- If the first hour of play has passed and the second half has not yet started, then it will be mandatory to apply the 4-minutes-per-turn rule (or even less) in order to finish all matches completely.
- Once time is up, the referees may stop the match with the result at that moment in order to proceed to the next round.
Schedule
In this edition, matches will last 2 hours and 15 minutes.
Saturday
- 08:30 Registration
- 09:00 - 11:15 First round
- 11:30 - 13:45 Second round
- 14:00 - 15:00 Lunch
- 15:00 - 17:15 Third round
- 16:30 - 19:45 Fourth round
- 20:15 Prize ceremony
Each player is responsible for entering the result on the bbtournaments website, which must be verified by their opponent. The organization is not responsible for incorrectly entered results; if an error is detected, report it to the organization as soon as possible and it will be resolved in the least damaging way. Match reports not entered on time will count as 0-0 across the board.
- A coach who does not show up on time to play will lose the opening kick.
- After 15 minutes, they will lose the opening kick and start the match losing 1-0.
- After 25 minutes, the match will be given as lost 1-0.
It is recommended that when half an hour remains, everyone sets a clock with 15 minutes for each player. Once the 15 minutes are used up, on your turn you can only turn over and pick up players. Nothing else.
Prizes
- Tournament Champion: the best-ranked player.
- Second Place: the player who gets second place.
- Third Place: the player who gets third place.
- Top Scorer: the player with the most touchdowns scored.
- Most Bloodthirsty: the player with the most casualties caused (all count, including fouls, pushed off the pitch, etc.).
- Best Defense: the player with the fewest touchdowns conceded.
- Best Painted Team: the player with the best fully painted team.
- Rookie of the Year: the player with the best finishing position in their first participation.
- Wooden Spoon: the player who wins the last table's match in the last round.
- Best Stunty: the best-ranked player using a Stunty team.
No player may receive more than one prize; if they would win several, they keep the best one and the rest pass to the next player. Except for the painting prize and the rookie prize, which CAN be obtained simultaneously with any other prize.
To be eligible for any prize except Painting and Wooden Spoon, it is essential to finish between positions 1 and 40, i.e., the upper half of the standings.
All participants will receive a pair of commemorative dice as a gift. THESE ARE MANDATORY FOR USE IN THE TOURNAMENT. Dice from previous editions may also be used.
Painting Prize
During the lunch break, a table will be set up where you can present your team for the prize. You will be given a card to write your nickname, team name, Instagram, etc. During that exhibition period, the judges will evaluate the teams and decide the winner.
If you have already won a painting prize with a team, you cannot win it again with that team, but you can present a different team.
Tournament Rules
The rules used will be the latest edition accepted by the NAF.
Any coach may request the use of a clock, without abusing it to waste time; we are all adults and want to win matches, but matches are won by rolling dice and finishing the game, not by stalling time.
The first 10 tables will have a clock available with 1 hour and 5 minutes for each player.
If the clock is used, both players accept the following rule: once a player's available time has run out, they may only pick up and turn over miniatures; they may not activate any player.
"THE RULES MAY BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE, WHICH WILL BE COMMUNICATED TO THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY REGISTERED AND UPLOADED THEIR ROSTER."
Team Creation
- Each team has a certain amount of money and a certain amount of SPP available. Any unspent amount is lost.
- A minimum of 11 players must be hired.
- Teams with an orange star may hire Star Players, but always after hiring 11 team players.
- We recommend building the roster with this fantastic website https://forjadenuffle.es/rostermundial.html, where you can build it without errors, and then copy it to BB Tournament.
SPP for Skills
Each team has a certain amount of SPP available to spend on skills; the cost is as follows:
- 1st Primary Skill: 6 SPP.
- 1st Secondary Skill: 10 SPP.
- only for teams that can stack skills -
- 2nd Primary Skill: 8 SPP.
- 2nd Secondary Skill: 12 SPP.
- Elite Skill: +2 SPP.

Star Players
Only teams marked with an orange star may hire Star Players, but only after having hired 11 team players.
If both coaches have hired the same Star Player, neither of them may use that player in the match.
Hiring Star Players incurs an SPP tax that depends on the Star Player's cost:
- 18 SPP - cost 0 to 199k
- 24 SPP - cost 200k to 299k
- 32 SPP - cost 300k+
Hiring a Star Player with the Secret Weapon skill limits the number of available Bribes to 0-2.

Injuries
The tournament format is Resurrection; all injuries suffered during matches, including deaths, disappear after each match.
Refereeing
In case of doubt, the rules will be consulted, and if for some reason they do not cover a certain aspect, the tournament referees will always have the final word and players must accept their decisions.
It is the players' responsibility to remember and keep track of the following situations:
- Bone Head and Really Stupid rolls, Take Root...
- Animal Savagery rolls.
- Keeping track of illegal placements or deployments and too many players on the field.
Whenever possible, play will return to the situation or point where the roll was forgotten within the same turn; however, if the situation is detected after scoring a TD and picking up the players, the touchdown will be valid for all purposes.
Things you should bring:
- Blood Bowl kit.
- Two copies of the team list.
- Pass rule, bounce and throw-in templates.
- Dice to play matches; block dice, D6, D8, D16.
Food
- Saturday breakfast is included: half a toast and coffee/colacao, served 08:00 - 08:45.
- The lunch menu will be published soon once our chef has it ready.
- Additionally, a ticket for 1 drink and another for 1 coffee will be given.
- Those with food allergies are asked to inform the organization at the time of registration, so special menus can be prepared.
Draws/Raffles
The raffles will take place during round 35 (sic), where one of the organizers will go table to table handing out prizes to the lucky winners.
The Mezquita Shop
Since every year players ask for dice, tokens, and other items from previous editions, we will set up a small table with a restock of all these items so you can purchase them without any problem.
Friday Night Drinks
Our amazing sponsor, the best pub in Lucena, will host a party the night before for everyone staying over on Friday or who wants to come by and say hello.
