Tensions have always run high in Verona Hollow, the valley that runs between the ancestral homelands of two rival clans, both alike in dignity: the Pork-Rillette Halflings and the Mountainblue Goblins. Lately the ancient grudge has broken into new mutiny, as the halflings search for the fry-maker's missing daughter, Julienne. She's been missing for several days, as has the favorite son of the Mountainblue Goblins, Gromeo. No chance they could have run off together, right? Each side is convinced their side's missing child was kidnapped by the other, and they are amassing all their friends to help them on the pitch, where civil blood makes stunty little civil hands unclean. Blood Bowl Sevens is a shorter, quicker version of the sport played on a smaller pitch by players who weren't quite good enough to make it into the big leagues.
We will be using the official Third Season 7s rules from the 2026 Spike! Issue 22, as well as that manual's pricing for inducements (no desperate measures).
NOTE: If these Spike! Sevens rules come out in a few weeks and things are markedly different, the TO reserves the right to tweak inducements and the like. This will be updated obviously when we know more.
1 normal/primary skill per team. Per BB2025 7s rules, Leader is allowed, but as you will see below, taking it as your one skill isn't going to help you much.

In addition to the rest of your roster, each team will be captained by one of the following champions from either the Pork-Rillets or the Mountainblues. These are free players in addition to your roster, do not count as a positional player, and cannot be used to make your roster legal (i.e., you must have 7 players before one of them is added to your roster). These players are the "Team Captain" for your team - in other words, EVERY RACE has access to the Team Captain ability this tourney, and it has to be one of these two players.
Both Thibaldo Thorny-Stitch and Muck-Gnashio also have the Team Captain ability - they each have Pro, and can save rerolls from being spent by their team on a roll of a 6 on a d6. They both also have the Mighty Blow skill when blocking each other, and have the Dirty Player skill when fouling each other. "A plague on both your houses!"
We are using the NAF FAQs, HOWEVER the following are EXPLICIT CHANGES FROM "NAF RECOMMENDATION AND CLARIFICATIONS FOR BB2025 SEVENS" (Published September 26, 2025):
The first round of matches will be randomized. Each following round will be determined through Swiss pairings. Points are awarded as follows:

In honor of the Shakespearean Stunty theme, each player will receive a model of both captain players from the rival clans (designed by Ugni miniatures especially for this tourney), Chaos Cup 7s d6 dice for use in the event, and other assorted swag.
Rosters sent to the TO, Sean Cowley, at seanmcowley@gmail.com, and payment sent to the same email address at PayPal. When you submit your roster, please include an indication which team you are joining with either an (H) for halflings or (G) for goblins at the start of your team name. When you pay, please send on the "friends and family" setting, and include your full name and naf name and number as well as "Chaos Cup 7s" in the payment.
