The Ramstel Cup is a 3-coach squad tournament: each squad must be composed by 3 different rosters to be chosen amongst the rosters authorized by the NAF at the time of the tournament.
Single players who cannot form a squad but are still interested to come shall contact the organisation. Depending on attendance and squad needs they will be assigned to an incomplete team or to a new team with other single players.
Time Management: After one hour of play, the referee will patrol the room and may impose a chess clock with a global time limit if you are too far behind. A global timer can also be requested at the start of the match if one of the two coaches asks for it.
Disputes: In case of disagreement with an opponent, please contact the referee, whose decision will be final.
Dice etiquette: Before any games it is the responsibility of the two coaches to agree on the definition of what is a cocked dice or not.
The Ramstel Cup is a resurrection tournament during which all players return to their starting status after each game regardless of injuries or any other post-match changes. Players added to a team roster mid-game as a result of the Masters of Undeath or Plague Ridden special rules are removed from the roster at the end of the game and are not carried on for the next game.
Tournament Rules are the official Blood Bowl 2025 (Season 3) Rules.
The NAF recommendations & Clarifications will be followed and can be found: https://www.thenaf.net/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/NAF-FAQ-for-BB2025_v20251230_A4.pdf?ver=1

Each team has a different budget based on its Tier:
Coaches receive a budget and a set number of Skill Points based on their Tier:
Note:
Each Skill point enables you to give a primary skill (PS) to an eligible player. It is not allowed to give 2 skills to the same player. Random skills and characteristics improvements are not allowed. If your team is of tier 4 or lower, you may purchase up to 2 Star Players. If you decide to purchase at least 1 Star Player, you cannot give Elite skills (ES) or Secondary skills (SS) to your players while creating your roster. If two identical Star Players are on the field, both can play.
Important: For teams with a choice of two Leagues (e.g., Halflings choosing between the Thimble Cup or Woodland League), you must choose one. A Star Player can only play for one League (indicated on their profile). Example: If you recruit Rumbelow Sheepskin (Thimble Cup), you cannot also recruit Deeproot Strongbranch (Woodland League).
The budget allows to purchase the following:
3 rounds will be played during the tournament.
The first round will be randomly paired. A double swiss system is used for rounds 2 and 3 (first swiss system to pair the squads and then swiss system to pair coaches within the squad pairing).
