From the EL TEMPLO association we present: III TEMPLO BOWL! With your trusted Sangria!
Punctuality is requested to keep to the planned schedule.
Each table will have a corresponding match report sheet to record the results of the match just played. Once filled in after each round, it must be handed in to the organization. It is important that this sheet is filled in correctly, as it will determine the ranking position and even the tournament winner. The organization will not be responsible if a sheet is filled in incorrectly.
All matches must finish as soon as the organization announces that the round has ended. Matches with a play that could result in a Touchdown must complete it immediately, making only the strictly necessary movements and rolls to achieve it.
Time remaining in the round will be announced at 1 hour, 30 minutes, 10 minutes, 5 minutes, and at round closure.
Match sheets not turned in on time will be considered a 0-0 draw with 0 casualties for both sides.
Only official teams recognized by the NAF may be used.
Humans, Old World Alliance, High Elves, Imperial Nobility, Black Orcs, Snotlings, Orcs, Dwarfs, High Elves, Skaven, Dark Elves, Chaos, Chaos Dwarfs, Undead, Amazons, Goblins, Halflings, Wood Elves, Necromantic Horror, Elven Union, Nurgle, Khorne, Khemri, Norse, Ogres, Vampires, Lizardmen, Slann, Underworld, Chaos Renegades and Gnomes.
This edition will focus team creation and tiers as in the World Cup.
This is a Resurrection tournament. Star Player Points (SPP) are not earned during matches. Injuries, casualties, or deaths do not carry over to the next match.
Necromantic Horror, Tomb Kings, Undead, Vampires, and Nurgle teams may apply the Undead Masters and Plague Ridden rules, but any player added to the roster during a match will be removed at the end of the match. All teams are considered to have exactly the same Current Team Value (CTV) for the purposes of Prayers to Nuffle.
Each team has a specific Gold budget according to its Tier to spend on building the roster. A minimum of 11 regular players must be hired, including Star Players.
Any gold or SPP not spent during team creation is permanently lost.
Teams are divided into tiers that determine both their starting Gold and their SPP budget for purchasing skills.
Gold Budget
Columns: 36 SPP, 44 SPP, 52 SPP, 58 SPP, 60 SPP, 66 SPP
You must spend your assigned SPP budget to acquire skills. Random skills and stat upgrades are strictly prohibited.
Elite Skills: Certain exceptionally powerful skills are designated Elite Skills. Purchasing an elite skill costs an additional 2 SPP on top of the base cost listed above. There is no restriction on the total number of elite skills your team may acquire, as long as you have the necessary SPP budget to pay for them.
You may purchase the following inducements using your initial Gold budget. No other inducement from the Blood Bowl rulebook or Death Zone is permitted.
Only teams marked with the corresponding symbol in the tier list may include a Star Player. Star Players count towards the minimum of 11 players required in the roster.
The same Star Player cannot be hired twice within a squad; there can only be a single instance of a specific Star Player among the 6 teams that make up your squad.
Banned Star Players (cannot be hired by any team): Cindy Piewhistle, Griff Oberwald, Ivar Eriksson, Jordell Freshbreeze, Maple Highgrove, Scyla Anfigrimm, Skrorg Snowpelt, Swiftvine Glimmershard, and Thorsson Stoutmead.
Matches will last 120 minutes. We all know many things can happen that prevent this duration from being respected, so it is up to the players to do their best to finish matches on time so as not to hinder the rest of the tournament.
Whenever a coach wishes, the classic rule of 4 minutes per turn can be activated at any point in the match. For any doubts, the organization will be happy to scold your opponent.
In case of a no-show concession, the opponent will be considered the winner by 3-0 and 3 casualties.
The tournament will be Resurrection format and matches will be considered "friendly/exhibition" for game purposes.
This is a Resurrection tournament; all injuries suffered during matches by our team's players, including death, will disappear at the end of each match. In other words, the team is rebuilt. Even so, Apothecaries are useful for recovering injured or even unconscious players during the match.
The fundamental goal is to have fun. There will be no active refereeing; in case of extreme dispute, the organization may intervene, using the rulebook as a weapon if necessary.
The use of the tournament dice is mandatory. Both this edition's dice and those from past editions may be used.
The referee figure is usually not necessary, but sometimes there is no choice but to resort to them. They will signal the end of matches and resolve doubts and disputes, their decisions being final.
In case of doubt, the rulebook will be consulted, and if the rules do not cover a certain aspect, and the referees cannot give an answer, the situation will be decided by rolling a die (odd or even) to see who is right.
The maximum match duration will be 2 hours, with the organization able to give extra time if deemed appropriate.
Players are expected to be punctual in attending the rounds set by the organization, with the possibility of disqualifying players who do not attend their round or whose lateness harms the smooth running of the tournament.
It is the players' responsibility to remember and manage the following situations:
Whenever possible, play will return to the situation or point where the roll was forgotten or the error made within the same turn; however, if the situation is detected after scoring a Touchdown and picking up the players, the score will be valid for all purposes.
Use of the stopwatch for 4-minute turns will be legal if at least one coach requests it.
No unsportsmanlike behavior, cheating, or disrespect will be tolerated. The referees/organization reserve the right to expel any player they consider to be disturbing the good atmosphere of the tournament, barring them from future editions.
All miniatures must be painted to a minimum "tabletop standard." This means every main element is properly painted and bases are finished with texture, static grass (flock), or suitably painted. Untreated metal miniatures, unpainted plastic, or primer-only miniatures are strictly prohibited.
To ensure that different player types are easily identifiable, we strongly suggest using different colors, and if non-official GW teams are used, the base must clearly show, both front and back, which player it represents. Likewise, additional skills must be clearly identified on the miniature with the corresponding color-coded skill blocks.
At least the following will be awarded:
There will also be racial pins for the best coach of each represented race.
Note: Only 1 trophy may be won per coach. If a coach wins several trophies, they may choose the one they prefer, and the one they give up will pass to the next-placed coach in that category.
Near the association there are multiple restaurants, including the Gran Turia shopping center, a 5-minute walk away. Everyone can choose where to go.
PARTICIPATION IN THE TOURNAMENT IMPLIES ACCEPTANCE OF ALL THE RULES.
THE ORGANIZATION RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MODIFY THE RULES IF IT DEEMS APPROPRIATE, NOTIFYING OF THIS IN THIS THREAD.
