I Planet Bowl

PLANET BOWL 2026

First edition of the Planet Bowl tournament to be held at the Play Planet store in Málaga on September 12, 2026. The tournament will be governed by Blood Bowl 2025 rules and with all FAQs updated to the latest published by GW as of the tournament date.

Venue

Play Planet store at P.º de los Tilos, 64, Cruz de Humilladero, 29006 Málaga

Capacity limited to 20 places.

Registration

Registration costs €25 with meals included, for NAF members. Non-NAF members must register at the store up to one week before the tournament.

Tournament Manager

The tournament management system is BlitzArea (blitzarea.com)

Schedule

Each match will last 2 hours and 15 minutes. The organization reserves the right to modify these times if necessary for logistical reasons.

• 9:00-9:30 Reception and distribution of dice and merchandise
• 9:30-11:45 Round 1
• 12:00-14:15 Round 2
• 14:15-15:00 Meal (included in subscription)
• 15:00-17:15 Round 3
• 17:15-17:30 Prize distribution

Lateness Rules

• If a player arrives 5 minutes late, they lose the opening kickoff.
• If a player arrives 10 minutes late, they lose the opening kickoff and start with a touchdown against them.
• If a player arrives 15 minutes late, they lose the match 2-0.

Incentives

All incentives from the manual are permitted except Prayers to Nuffle.

Pairings

Swiss-style pairing with the option of challenges in the first round.

Scoring

• Victory = 3 pts
• Draw = 1 pt
• Defeat = 0 pt

• Head-to-head result
• Opponents' points
• Net touchdowns
• Net casualties*
• Most touchdowns
• Most casualties
• Random

Prizes

• Champion
• Runner up
• Best painted
• Raffles: Two Games Workshop teams will be raffled among all participants, and two 3D-printed resin teams.

In each round, there will be a competition to see who first achieves:

• The first casualty
• The first failed dodge
• The first stunt that dies when thrown

All of these will earn a Star Player.

*Casualties: counts all casualties suffered by your opponent, regardless of the cause, whether the player regenerated, was saved by the apothecary, or by any other means.

Other Rules

• All miniatures must be clearly identified.

• All miniatures must be painted to be eligible for raffles.

• All skill upgrades must be marked with the following color code:

  • Pass - Blue
  • Dodge - Yellow
  • Defense - Green
  • Lethal Blow - Red
  • Defensive Tackle - Orange
  • Wrestle - White
  • Leader - Pink/Purple

  The remaining upgrades not mentioned will use colors that best suit the situation.

• Tournament dice will be provided; using them is not mandatory. If your opponent wants to use your dice, you must let them.

• Clarify with your opponent before the match starts regarding the "rinchi" dice criteria.

• Each player is responsible for finishing their match on time. If you notice you are playing slowly, start the clock with a time bank as soon as possible.
