CAWA GIRONA venue, Carrer Major 306, 17190, Salt (Girona).
There is plenty of parking relatively nearby. If coming by train, it's better to then take a bus, line 3 or 4, as it's more than half an hour walking from RENFE!

The tournament will take place on November 28th.
The tournament will be 4 rounds of Swiss. The winner will be the best-placed player after those 4 rounds.
The price is 30€, which includes snacks and food (detailed below).
According to the agreement of the Catalonia tournament organizers' association, the tournament will follow these registration rules:
Registrations are formalized by payment of the tournament fee. This means pre-registration lists no longer exist, and the order of registrations will be based on the date of payment. The name or nickname of the person making the payment, along with the payment date, will be recorded on the forum.
If a registered person is ultimately unable to attend the tournament, they will still be entitled to receive the tournament gifts (dice, etc.) and to participate in the raffles. Under no circumstances will the paid amount be refunded, unless the reason is considered force majeure, which will be handled individually, with the organizer's decision being final.
Paying the tournament fee does not guarantee participation. The roster must be sent within the established deadlines. Failure to do so will result in non-participation and loss of registration. Tournaments will be managed through Tourplay.
It's important to note that the Tourplay account must be verified with the NAF. This is very simple and saves a lot of work time when uploading the tournament. To do this, simply go to your Tourplay profile and select "verify account with NAF". You must log into your NAF account, and it will then remain verified permanently. If you have problems with the NAF website, make sure your NAF Nick and NAF number shown in your Tourplay profile are correct, every letter, number and punctuation mark.
To formalize the 30€ payment, we offer 3 options:
The deadline to send the roster/payment is Friday, November 9th at midnight (12 at night). Whoever hasn't sent it by then will move to the reserve list - "no one will be chased, forewarned is forearmed."
The tournament is limited to 54 places, as the CAWA venue cannot fit more people playing Blood Bowl at the same time.
Tiers:
Skill costs:
The free mutation has no cost, logically.
Elite skills are:
Elite skills cannot be stacked, except for Tier 6 teams, Elven Union and Slann, which may do so, but only once.
The free mutation and the Hero/Villain skills cannot be stacked with each other (the hero and villain cannot be the mutated player), but they can be assigned to a player who already has skills assigned, whether one, two, simple, secondary or elite.
As every year, whoever brings a PAINTED TEAM will get a free assistant coach and a cheerleader. This will be awarded by the opponent in round 1 upon checking the opposing team on the table. Remember that ALL miniatures must be painted; if even one is not, the benefit is lost.
Tournament registration includes the following PACK: 2D6 + exclusive token.
There will be a raffle of teams and BB material among all participants.
As has become a tradition...
Star Players have been banished from the tournament (no TIER may hire them). But you know that there's one who claims to be a doctor who doesn't like this idea, and after locking himself in CAWA's basements to experiment, he started creating mutants that bloom in CAWA's fields... We have a potentiating serum!
Before the tournament begins, each coach will see ONE of their players become a Villain or a Hero. At the start of the tournament (randomly), it will be decided which side each coach aligns with (Hero vs Villain).
Once each team's affiliation is known, coaches will "hand-pick" the player chosen to drink the potentiating serum. When building the roster, the player's name must indicate who is designated as the potential "HERO" and who is designated as the potential "VILLAIN".
Players with the Loner trait, Big Guys, and Secret Weapons are excluded. The serum has no effect on these players. Exception: Ogres from Ogre teams CAN be heroes or villains.
Note 1: A hero and a villain must be designated. But beware! Remember you won't know your affiliation until right before the tournament starts. The effects of the serum are unpredictable! Note that you can designate the same player to be either villain or hero, or you can designate 2 different players. Example 1: a Wood Elves roster with a Wardancer as potential villain and a Lineman as potential hero. Example 2: a Chaos roster with a Chaos Warrior who will be either villain or hero.
Note 2: Tier 6 teams (stunties) have managed to sneak into CAWA's basement labs and have stolen an extra serum. Rascals! These teams will participate in the initial draw to find out which division they fall into, but they will have TWO serums for the tournament and will have both a Villain and a Hero among their ranks.
VILLAIN: The chosen player gains Horns, Mighty Blow +1, and Regeneration. The skills granted by the serum are added to the player's existing skills (including any skill-ups already made); however, if a player already had one of the skills granted by the serum, that skill is simply ignored. Mighty Blow cannot be stacked, nor can Horns be doubled, nor can Regeneration be used twice! Example: If a Chaos team's Beastman with Tackle already learned is designated as the villain, he will lose the Horns skill granted by the serum (the Beastman already has Horns by default), and his skills will be: Horns, Tackle, Mighty Blow, and Regeneration.
HERO: The chosen player gains +1 Agility, Dodge, and Regeneration. The skills granted by the serum are added to the player's existing skills (including any skill-ups already made); however, if a player already had one of the skills granted by the serum, that skill is simply ignored. Dodge cannot be used twice in a turn, nor can Regeneration be used twice! Example: If a Wood Elves Catcher with Tackle already learned is designated as the hero, he will lose the Dodge skill granted by the serum (the Wood Elf Catcher already knows Dodge by default), and his skills will be: Catch, Dodge, Tackle, Agility +1, and Regeneration.
X-MEN EDITION RULE: You can assign an extra mutation to one of your team's players. This player cannot be either the hero or the villain.
As has become a tradition at CAWA, there will be rice for lunch!
The menu will be: ASSORTED VARIETY OF EMPORDÀ CURED MEATS WITH BREAD AND TOMATO (bull blanc, bull negre, llonganissa, semi-cured cheese, salted ham, dry cured loin and catalana sausage) + MIXED PAELLA (vegetable paella option available) + DESSERT (bunyols de vent / wind fritters). There's a fruit option for dessert (if someone prefers it, please send a private message) + DRINK.
If anyone has an allergy and needs a special meal, no problem, just get in touch with us and we'll find an alternative.
The price of the menu is 15€ per person and is included in the 30€ tournament fee.
Obviously the schedule may vary slightly, but no match will last longer than the established time. When 15 minutes remain, players will be warned to equalize turns in case they can't finish the match. No new turn may start when less than 5 minutes remain until the end of the round, unless it's to equalize turns.
In case of a no-show, the organization will try to find a substitute player so the round can be played; in any case, the round will go to the present player, with a result of 3-0 in their favor.
In case of a rules dispute, the manual will be consulted; if the manual, an expert player, or the referee cannot reach an agreement on the rule, a die will be rolled. We hope the tournament is played in a good atmosphere and with a desire to play with people outside your usual circle. Winning is good, but above all we come to have fun!
The tournament point system is as follows:
Tiebreakers: tournament score > opponents' tournament score > net TDs > net casualties > number of TDs > number of casualties > random.
