The Team England Pathway Pairs tournament will be held on Saturday 19th September 2026 at The Outpost, Sheffield, S3 8GZ. The venue has free on-site parking and Pay & Display parking directly by the front gates. There is also a 24h NCP carpark nearby. The venue is close to local bus and tram routes, and is a 15 minute walk from Sheffield train station. There are many hotel options within a 10 minute walking distance.
This year has seen the beginning of the Team England Pathway take place over on the Squad England Discord. Coaches have been partaking in curated training sessions and competitive games since the beginning of 2026 with a view to improving their Blood Bowl playing level in a friendly environment, and we're looking to extend that environment to the tabletop at this event! Come and join us for 3 dedicated training sessions throughout the day and have a chance pose your questions to Team England members in person. Pathway Coaching sessions are open to all, but optional. We encourage you to get involved, but there is no pressure to do so.
Hot food is available for purchase on site from The Pitstop, and The Outpost bar sells drinks and snacks.
We will be using Tourplay to run this tournament. Please, if you don't already have one, create an account there - it's completely free.
Please note that in order to run the event on time, we may not be able to include anyone that arrives after the registration period has closed in the initial round one draw.
Chess clocks will be enforced should games be in danger of running over time. We suggest using a chess clock from Turn 1 of your games.
This tournament will follow the Eurobowl Poland 2026 rules for team building.
If you have any questions regarding how to build your team in TourPlay, please get in touch and we can assist you. We recommend using the roster builder at bbtc.pl in order to verify your roster before submitting to Tourplay.
The first matchups will be drawn randomly. In Rounds 2 - 3 opponents will be matched against others with a similar points score based on the overall ranking. This follows the familiar "Swiss" system used in many Blood Bowl tournaments.
Players earn points as follows each round:
