STARbowl - One Day Event
Format: 1200 TV teams competing in 4 matches in one day for beer-fuelled Blood Bowl shenanigans!
Special Rules
Star Players
- Star Players can be taken as part of the starting 11 players
- Every team must include at least one Star Player - this is their event after all!
- All NAF approved stars are permitted: all stars in the Blood Bowl: Third Season Rulebook and subsequent Spike! magazines
Superstars
The following Superstars are allowed but require you to skip your first additional skill:
- Bomber Dribblesnot
- Cindy Piewhistle
- Dribl and Drull
- Estelle la Veneaux
- Griff Oberwald
- Hakflem Skuttlespike
- H'Thark the Unstoppable
- Ivan Deathshroud
- Kreek Rustgouger
- Morg 'n' Thorg
- Skitter Stab-Stab
- Skrorg Snowpelt
In the event of the same Star Player appearing for both teams, one is clearly an imposter and will be found out on the pitch... (but both are still able to play).
Weather
The game is played in Sunny weather - as such all Pouring Rain & Blizzard weather results are treated as Very Sunny & Sweltering Heat respectively.
Each team gets a crate of ice lollies per match - which they can use once per game to allow one player to ignore the effects of a single failed Sweltering Heat result!
Tournament Structure
- All teams play 4 matches during the day
- Match-ups determined after each round:
- Round one: random pairings
- Rounds two, three and four: Swiss Monrad system
- Four minute turns in effect for matches to ensure the schedule runs to time
- Resurrection tournament: all injured players return for the next game
Ruleset & Teams
- Uses Blood Bowl: Third Season rules including all Spike! magazine updates
- NAF FAQ clarifications applied
- Open to all regular races from Blood Bowl: Third Season (plus NAF Slaan)
- Maximum TV of 1200k per team
