Casualty Counting Rules
All casualties count except:
- Rush/GFI fails
- Any action or use of skill that results in an injury on the same team as the activated player
- Failed dodges that were not SPECIFICALLY CAUSED by prehensile tail, tackle, Diving Tackle, or arm bar.
Inducement Restrictions
No Prayers to Nuffle, and no wizards. Everything else is allowed, and you're encouraged to look at all your options!
Roster Rules
- 1.65M - 1.75M tournament (keep in mind that 250k of this budget is taken by a mandatory mercenary choice)
- Skills cost their usual TV amounts and are INCLUDED in the total budget.
- Elite tax of 10k is in place for all teams.
Some specific changes in skill allocation: In the same way that you cannot have Frenzy and Grab on the same player, you may not have the following skills stacked for this event:
- Foul Appearance and Steady Footing.
- Hit and Run with an additional Movement up characteristic (+MA).
- Break Tackle with an additional Agility up characteristic (+AG).
This means that if your player starts with one of the above skills, you may not add the other, and you may not add both to a player with neither skill. These are to prevent potentially game-breaking situations and/or unstoppable players.
All star players are allowed.
Inducements from the Gold Rush Catalog from last year are allowed, get with the TO for any specifics as that document has not been fully updated to the new edition. (All updates will be announced publicly as they happen)

Weather
As we are playing in stadiums found, and refurbished, inside a gold mine, the subterranean weather chart will be in effect across all games. (This is from 2nd season Death Zone, a copy will be available day of). Weather will start nice across all games. May the gods have mercy on your players if that changes.
Kickoff Table
Use the standard kickoff.

Sportsmanship
We are here for the fun of the game. Sportsmanship is not only encouraged, it is required! We all have bad luck occasionally, but bad behavior will be addressed by the Tournament Organizer.
Fouling 16 turns in a row, stalling, or running up the score is not poor sportsmanship, but gloating and ridiculing your opponent is. This is not the tournament to take your foot off the gas. Allow your opponent their full victory by playing through. IHOP will be there for you afterwards. There are small awards not listed above for certain incredible feats on the pitch.
The Last Word
The Tournament Organizer will be the final arbitrator for any interpretation of the rules.
