Special Rule: Vegas Bowl - Red or Black
The Vegas Bowl is governed by luck, spectacle... and the roulette wheel.
Before the tournament, each coach must choose a single player from their team who has no assigned skills and rename them in the roster remarks as:
This player will be the representative of their color throughout the tournament.
How does it work?
At the start of each round, the organization will make two roulette spins:
Skill pair draw
The first spin determines which pair of skills comes into play that round.
Example: The roulette shows number 1, which corresponds to the following pair: Tackle - Dodge
Color draw
Then, a second spin is made to determine which color receives the first skill of the pair.
Following the previous example:
- If the roulette shows RED, the player marked as Red will receive Tackle and the player marked as Black will receive Dodge.
- If the roulette shows BLACK, the exact opposite will happen: the Black player gets Tackle and the Red player gets Dodge.
Full example:
The skill roulette selects: 1 → Tackle / Dodge
The color roulette shows: RED
Result:
- The Red player gets Tackle.
- The Black player gets Dodge.
Important:
- The chosen player cannot have skills assigned in the initial roster. But they can be the team captain.
- Each coach may only designate one player as Red or Black.
- The skill obtained through this rule is completely free.
- The assignment is made at the start of each round and is valid only for that round.
Because in Las Vegas, fortune always has the last word.
Skills to be drawn:
- Block 1: Tackle - Dodge
- Block 2: Guard - Mighty Blow
- Block 3: Jump Up - Side Step
- Block 4: Stand Firm - Disturbing Presence
- Block 5: Random Attribute
In block 5 each player rolls a D8 to see which attribute they get:
- AV improvement
- AV or ST improvement
- AV, MA or ST improvement
- AV, MA or ST improvement
- MA or ST improvement
- AG or MA improvement
- AG or ST improvement
- Attribute of your choice improvement
Special Rule: Granaillo Malafollá
The unmistakable Granaillo Malafollá, official mascot of the Vegas Bowl, returns once again ready to spread joy... and beer.
Armed with a refreshing 1925, the quintessential Granada beer, Granaillo can help one player from each team during the match.
How does it work?
Once per half of the match, each coach can choose a single player located in the KO Zone to receive help from Granaillo Malafollá.
A 1D6 roll will be made:
- On a result of 2+, the player automatically recovers and moves directly from the KO Zone to the Reserves Box, becoming available to return to play normally at the next kickoff.
- On a natural 1, the player also leaves the KO Zone and moves to the Reserves Box, but the excess beer has taken its toll.
For the rest of that half, the player gains the special rule: DRUNKARD
Restrictions
- This special ability can only be used once per half of the match.
- The coach must declare which player receives Granaillo's help before making the roll.
- A player can only benefit from this rule once per half.
In the Vegas Bowl no one stays in the KO Zone without first having a 1925. The problem is that some have more than they should...
LAS VEGAS BOWL II
Dice. Blood. Bribes.
And probably too many goblins.
