Tournament Ruleset
This tournament uses standard NAF rules and tiers based on the original BB2025 Rulebook and GW Official FAQ. The latest FAQ up to one week before the event will be used. Slann teams are included.
The Teams
Teams will be a minimum of 11 players. This includes the purchase of Re-rolls, Inducements and Team Staff (Apothecary, Cheerleaders, Dedicated Fans etc). Coaches should ensure their roster has been added to their Tourplay registration so all Coaches can see your team list.
- All NAF sanctioned teams are eligible.
- Teams get a 1.2 million gold budget to construct their roster.
- Star players can be purchased as part of a roster but must include a minimum of 11 players before adding any to their roster. Star Players cost Skill Points in addition to Gold as detailed below.
- Opposing Teams can have the same Star Player
- Star Players who come as a mandatory pair (Such as Dribl & Drull) count as 1 Star Player for the purposes of maximum Star Player Recruitment.
- Mega-Stars count towards the Maximum amount of Star Players a Coach can take in total.
- Wizards, Death Zone Mercenaries or Giants may not be hired as part of any team.
- Only inducements from the Official Rules can be taken.
- Master Chefs can only be purchased by Halfling Thimble Cup Teams.
- Team Rosters will reset at the end of the match, regardless of any injury or death sustained during play.
Team Tiers and Skills
Tier 1: Amazon, Chaos Dwarf, Dark Elf, Dwarf, High Elf, Lizardman, Norse, Old World Alliance, Underworld Denizens, Wood Elf
Tier 2: Bretonnia, Elven Union, Human, Imperial Nobility, Necromantic Horror, Orc, Shambling, Undead, Slann, Skaven, Tomb Kings, Vampires
Tier 3: Chaos Chosen, Chaos Renegades, Khorne, Nurgle
Tier 4: Gnomes, Goblins, Halflings, Ogres, Snotlings
Skill Points
- Tier 1: 6 points, Max 1 Secondary
- Tier 2: 8 points, Max 2 Secondary
- Tier 3: 9 points, Max 3 Secondary
- Tier 4: 10 points, Max 3 Secondary
Purchasing Skills
- Each player can only be given a single additional skill.
- There is no limit to the amount of times a single skill can be taken, so long as the Coach has a remaining points budget and stays under their Secondaries maximum.
- No STAT increases will be allowed. Only Skills can be purchased.
- Star Players cannot purchase any additional skills.
