A slot is NOT reserved by posting or registering in the manager system - only once payment is made will the registration be considered confirmed and the slot secured.
All participants must complete their rosters through the manager: https://bbtournaments.es/tournament/X%20Quixote%20Bowl
All registration payments must be made by bank transfer. If you wish to pay via Bizum or PayPal, contact the organizers by private message, email, or WhatsApp.
Both rosters and registrations must be submitted before Tuesday 22 September 2026, to avoid delays on the day of the tournament collecting late rosters/registrations.
Roster changes can be made until Tuesday 22 September 2026. After that date, no changes or new rosters will be accepted.
The organization will give you a reviewed copy of your submitted roster on the day of the tournament.
The tournament will be played on Saturday 26 September 2026. Each player will play four matches, always against a different opponent after each round. The first round pairings are random. After that, in each round, 1st and 2nd place players (by points) play each other, 3rd vs 4th, and so on. The only exception is that you can never play the same opponent twice - in that case, a referee must be notified to fix the pairing so those players face others of similar standing.
Matches last a maximum of 2 hours, and the 4-minute rule may apply. Once time is up, referees may stop the match with the current score to allow the next round to proceed.
The first round draw takes place on the day of the tournament. If you register on Friday or Saturday morning, you will play (if a slot is available) against whoever the organization assigns. If you register later than Friday morning, participation cannot be guaranteed - please contact the organizers.
Please be punctual!
Important note: At the end of each round, the organization will start cutting matches from the last table to the first to meet the schedule, and score sheets must be filled in and uploaded to the manager.
Each table will have its own scoresheet to record special category award results; once filled in after each round, it must be handed to one of the organizers. It is important that this sheet is filled in correctly, as it will decide subcategory winners. The organization is not responsible for irregularly filled scoresheets.
A coach who does not show up on time to play:
Since it's an open tournament, there is no final.

"Fantasy Football Magazine" prize (winner chosen by the organization; given to the coolest-looking team of the tournament, whether professionally painted or self-painted, valuing the most impressive team overall, not just paint - the "magazine cover" team!)
A raffle for those who don't win anything else - everyone has a chance at some prize.
All proceeds go towards prizes/gifts for the players. Payment and subsequent non-attendance at the tournament exempts the organization from refunding payment or shipping any materials supplied to participants.
QUIXOTE BOWL DICE ARE MANDATORY for the tournament (dice from past editions also valid). MANDATORY, repeated for emphasis!
Ruleset: The rules used will be the current ones, Blood Bowl 2025, together with the Spikes that are published from now on.
Only official teams recognized by the NAF may be used. To clarify, these are: Old World Alliance, High Elves, Amazons, Bretonnian, Chaos Chosen, Dark Elves, Wood Elves, Dwarfs, Chaos Dwarfs, Gnomes, Goblins, Halflings, Lizardmen, Humans, Underworld, Khorne, Necromantic, Undead, Imperial Nobility, Norse, Nurgle, Ogres, Orcs, Black Orcs, Chaos Renegades, Skaven, Snotlings, Elven Union, Vampires.
Necromantic, Undead, and Nurgle teams MAY raise the dead when they cause casualties on their opponent.
Note: The organization reserves the right to modify any of these rules in pursuit of greater fun and playability.
There will be 3 types of team value tiers:
All team miniatures must be appropriate or conversions that are clearly representative of their position. No penalties for unpainted teams, as long as both players understand and there's no confusion. KINDER EGG FIGURES AND SIMILAR ARE FORBIDDEN!
Team rankings will be decided by: Tournament points, (TD difference (scored - conceded)) + casualty difference (caused - received), TDs scored, casualties caused.
Conceded match: Victory for the opponent with 3-0 in TDs and 3-0 in casualties (as long as the match doesn't already have a better result for the opponent and the concession would harm them).
Match-fixing: If any match-fixing is detected, both players lose the match, lose the right to win any prize, and a warning is sent to the NAF committee. If an unusually strange result occurs, the players will be monitored throughout the tournament by the referees. If strange behavior or other abnormal results repeat, match-fixing rules will be applied and/or expulsion from the tournament.
Starting skills depend on the chosen race, according to the following classification:
Tier 1: Amazons, High Elves, Dark Elves, Wood Elves, Dwarfs, Chaos Dwarfs, Lizardmen, Underworld, Norse, Undead, Orcs, Skaven - 6 primary skills
Tier 2: Humans, Necromantic, Elven Union, Khorne, Chaos, Imperial Nobility, Vampires and Tomb Kings, Bretonnia and Nurgle - 7 primary skills
Tier 3: Old World Alliance, Chaos Renegades, Black Orcs - 7 primary skills + 1 secondary
Tier 4: Goblins, Halflings, Ogres, Snotlings, Gnomes (THE ONLY TIER WITH ACCESS TO 1 STAR PLAYER) - 8 primary skills + 2 secondary, OR if you hire 1 star player: 6 primary skills + 1 star player
IMPORTANT: Only one skill-up per player.
To be determined!
The tournament wants spectacle and players leaving everything on the pitch. Due to the success of the previous two editions with this "Fair Play" format, this trophy returns.
RESPECT!! but in our own way ;)
ALL TEAMS WILL RECEIVE A FREE BRIBE FOR STOMPING! For all matches of the tournament - RESPECT! FAIL PLAY! -
IMPORTANT NOTE: THIS BRIBE CANNOT BE USED FOR ANY PLAYER WITH A SECRET WEAPON SKILL.
These skills apply for the whole tournament and must be clearly listed on the registration roster. THE OFFICIAL ROSTERS WILL BE GIVEN BY THE ORGANIZATION ON THE DAY OF THE TOURNAMENT.
No additional skills may be stacked on a player. Players may only choose skills available for their position and race. No attribute or characteristic increases may be gained. This replaces the star player points system in the rulebook.
All injuries suffered during matches by our team's players, including death, disappear at the end of each match. In other words, the team is rebuilt, except that skills assigned between matches are not lost, even if the player dies. Still, apothecaries are useful to recover injured or even unconscious players during the match.
All teams may acquire, with their starting gold, the following inducements:
Other than the above, no other inducements are allowed, except as established for star players in the following section.
Only TIER 4 teams may access 1 star player. It is not mandatory to register a star player if not desired.
All players should keep in mind that these events serve to play our favorite game and meet different people than those we normally play with over a weekend. Seeking "champions" is a byproduct of this, and what is really sought is enjoying the game. The biggest point of friction is usually the rules, so in case of doubt they will be consulted, and if the rulebook doesn't cover a certain aspect, the tournament referees will always have the final word and players must accept their decisions.
Matches last a maximum of two hours, with the organization possibly granting extra time depending on the situation and circumstances, but this is not the general rule. A coach who does not show up on time will have 15 minutes; if still absent after that time, they lose the kickoff choice. After 45 minutes, the match is given as lost.
Players are expected to be punctual for the rounds set by the organization, with the possibility of players being considered withdrawn if they do not show up for their round or if their delay harms the smooth running of the tournament for other participants.
It is the players' responsibility to remember and control the following situations:
Whenever possible, play will return to the point where the roll was forgotten within the same turn; however, if the situation is detected after a TD is scored and players are picked up, the score will stand as valid.
A registered player may only be substituted in the first match of the tournament, for a justified reason.
