£20 - can be purchased through the website: https://7thcitycollectables.com/collections/type_play-in-store
Games will be 2 hours and 15 minutes long.
All miniatures must very clearly represent the team and players they are used for. Please try to bring painted models - just one coat or a couple of colours goes a long way! Games Workshop miniatures only (all conversions and majority of the model being GW are completely fine) are allowed to be entered for best painted, but no such restrictions apply for playing in the event. If you are unsure please just ask.
This will be player voted for at lunchtime. No display boards or additional models (other than cheerleaders if rostered) are allowed and it must be the team being used by the coach and painted by themselves.
Plenty of free parking at the venue.
Each team will have 1,150,000 GP to spend. This can be spent on players or inducements and must follow the normal team building rules with a minimum of 11 players. The skill points for each team will be determined by the following tier list and are added AFTER the budget has been spent (they do not add to TV). Note: No Slann.
Tier 1 (5 skill points): Amazon, Dark Elves, High Elves, Lizardmen, Necromantic Horror, Old World Alliance, Orc, Shambling Undead, Tomb Kings, Vampire, Wood Elves
Tier 2 (6 skill points): Dwarf, Human, Imperial Nobility, Norse, Nurgle, Underworld Denizens
Tier 3 (7 skill points): Black Orc, Bretonnian, Chaos Chosen, Chaos Dwarf, Chaos Renegade, Elven Union, Khorne, Skaven, Snotlings
Tier 4 (8 skill points, including 1 secondary - optional and can be swapped for a primary): Gnome, Goblin, Halfling, Ogre
Star Players: Each team may hire a maximum of 1 star player for 2 skill points; megastars are allowed but cost 4 skill points instead. Star player value must be included in your budget of 1,150,000.
Should any new star players or teams be released by the 12th September, they may be used and will be added to the tier list.
The following inducements are allowed, as per page 142 in the Blood Bowl Season 3 rulebook:
Stealing from the Rich: If the crowd causes a casualty to an opponent's player, you will gain an additional re-roll. If this re-roll is not used by the end of the drive, it will be lost. Multiple re-rolls can be obtained for each player; however, no re-rolls will be carried over to the following drive.
Additionally, make a note of any opposing player that is injured by the crowd, as these will count as 2 casualties toward the most casualties competition.
2 bonus tournament points (1 per bullet point) are available each match for:
1 additional tournament point will be granted (just once) if you bring a team that no other player brings to the event. By team, it refers to the list you choose from. (For example: if you bring Lizardmen with no Saurus, and someone else brings Lizardmen with Saurus, that counts as the same team.)
The final standings will be decided in order of tournament points, descending from highest to lowest. The tiebreakers, should players be level on tournament points, are as follows in descending order:
Awards will be given for the following positions:
The results will be reported to NAF, so please include your NAF number and name if you wish your results to count.
