It was expected by some, here it is! The Bowl-bec Cup III will take place on 19-20 September 2026 in Bolbec!
The venue will not be the same as previous editions! It will still be in Bolbec but this time, not far from the town centre. We will welcome you at Salle Rabelais, located at 126 route de Mirville, 76210 Bolbec. The parking is large enough to accommodate everyone. We are aiming for 26 teams, i.e. 52 participants, but there is always the possibility of expanding if there is more demand than places.
Registration fee is 50 euros. It covers prizes, food (and there's plenty!), goodies, etc. A raffle may be organized; the money raised from the raffle will be donated to an association located in Arelaune-en-Seine called Caresse de Tigre. It is an association of volunteers who take care of big cats removed from circuses that cannot be taken in by zoos.
For registration, you can pay by cheque (address on request), by bank transfer (bank details on request) or via PayPal at this address: secretariatlug@gmail.com
When registering, please specify your NAF number, whether you eat and sleep on site in the evening, and whether you arrive Friday evening or Saturday morning! Please also send us your rosters to this address: alexbechiri@hotmail.fr, clearly indicating the packs you have chosen when sending your rosters to save us verification time!
A meal is planned for Saturday lunch, Saturday evening and Sunday lunch. We will use the same caterer as previous editions and it is likely the menus will be the same, i.e. Couscous, Tartiflette and Basque chicken. Our caterer does not offer a vegetarian option, so if you have a specific diet, please plan accordingly on your own. A microwave and fridges will be available on site. Of course, part of the registration fee will be refunded if you arrange your own meals.
Arrival possible Friday evening but no meal planned! However, it's not impossible that we'll order something or go to a restaurant all together, there's no shortage of options in our beautiful town! cheers
We also have the possibility of picking you up at Bréauté-Beuzeville station, 15 minutes from the venue.
Saturday:
Sunday:
As in the previous edition, the tournament will be team-based with random duo pairing. You will discover your partner upon arrival. We always arrange for two players who are not from the same group to be paired together, and we will not have duplicate rosters.
The tournament will be in BB2025 Resurrection format, CGO, NAF and CDF, with partial teams!
Challenges are possible for Round 1 but this will force the partners of the challenged players to play against the other partners! Of course, if the challenged player ends up on the same team via the draw as the player who declared the challenge, the challenge will be cancelled. Otherwise, pairings will be done using the Swiss system.
We have rewards for:
We will explain the bread basket prize on the day of the tournament as it is a special prize!
Bonus points:
You have a certain number of skill points (PC) to spend to improve your players. A Primary skill costs 1 PC while a Secondary skill costs 2 PC.
Within your team budget you can also buy boosts from this list:
Then, to fine-tune your teams, you have two Goldbec to spend, here are the packs you can buy with your Goldbec:
Gold above all! (1 Goldbec): One or more skill points can be exchanged for gold at a rate of 30,000 per PC spent. (You cannot go beyond 1,250k)
Rising star player! (1 Goldbec): One or more skill points can be sacrificed to stack skills on players. Tiers 1 and 2 can only do this once. Tiers 3 and 4 can do this twice, and Tiers 5-6 can do this up to three times. (One PC spent per skill stack)
Friends with the organizers (1 Goldbec): You get a token that you can spend ONCE during the tournament. By using the token, you can change ONE skill of your team for the match.
I need reinforcements! (2 Goldbec): You can sacrifice a certain number of skills to hire star players (up to a maximum of two). To do so, proceed as follows:
The mega-stars in this list are only accessible for Tiers 5-6: Griff, Hakflem, H'tark, Ivan and Morg. If two identical star players meet, both play.
I remain available for any specific questions and we look forward to welcoming you once again this year.
