Time
- There is a time limit of 2 hours and 15 minutes per game.
- Recommended time allocation: 1 hour per player, 15 minutes for e.g. rules clarification or setting up pieces (at kickoff).
- With 1 hour remaining, coaches should be at the start of the second half. If not, the remaining time should be divided equally using a chess clock.
- It is generally recommended to use a chess clock from the start.
- If a coach's playing time has expired, they may only make players lying on their backs stand up, or turn players lying on their stomachs onto their backs.
- After the 2 hours 15 minutes playing time has expired, the game is abandoned, regardless of the remaining moves or which turn the coaches are on. There is no additional turn.
Too Many Players
If, after kickoff, a coach notices that a team has too many players on the field, the following rule applies: the number of excess players plus one additional player (randomly determined) will be removed from the field and placed in the reserve box. No Big Guys or Star Players.
Forfeit
A forfeit is defined as a score of at least 2-0 TD and 3-0 CAS for the opposing coach.
Casualties
All casualties are counted.
Fair Play & Golden Rule
Our primary goal is for everyone to have fun and enjoy themselves together. Therefore, "Fair Play" should be the number one motto for all coaches. If any disagreements arise, please talk to us. We will try to find a solution that works for both sides.
As tournament organizers, we reserve the right to deduct points from individual coaches (or, in extreme cases, even exclude them from the tournament) if they behave unsportsmanlike (e.g., insults, constant arguments about the rules, etc.).
