Hello everyone. From Cocentaina we want to announce that we're back with the V Tostons Bowl next 2026!
The tournament will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026.
The venue will be "La Casa de la Joventut" in Cocentaina, where we have a great playing space and good access with nearby parking areas.
The tournament price is 19€.
Payment will be made via PayPal to the email "antrifer@hotmail.com" as a friends/family transfer. You must indicate the NICK/NAF of the payer for identification.
Punctuality is requested in order to keep to the planned schedule.
Match management and match sheets will be handled through the BBtournaments app.
You can find the tournament at the link https://www.bbtournaments.es/tournament/v-tostons-bowl
It is important that the match sheet is filled in correctly, as it will determine ranking position and even the tournament winner. Once a round is closed, players will have 5 minutes to review the results in BBtournaments. After this time, no further changes will be accepted and the next round will be launched. The organization will not be responsible if a match sheet is filled in incorrectly.
In case of system failure, the organization will hand out a paper match sheet to each table to record the results of the match just played. Once filled in after each round, it must be handed to the organization.
A player who arrives at their table 5 minutes after the round has started will automatically lose the kick, and their opponent will choose who starts receiving the ball. If the person arrives more than 10 minutes after the start of the round, the match will start with 1 Touchdown against them.
If the person arrives more than 20 minutes after the start of the round, the match will be considered conceded.
All matches must finish as soon as the organization announces that the round has ended. Matches that have a play that could result in a Touchdown must complete it immediately, making only the strictly necessary movements and rolls to achieve it.
Time remaining in the round will be announced at 1 hour, 30 minutes, 10 minutes, 5 minutes, and at round closing.
Match sheets not turned in on time will be considered a 0-0 draw with 0 casualties for both sides.
THESE RULES ARE PROVISIONAL AND WILL BE MODIFIED UNTIL EARLY JANUARY. WE WILL ANNOUNCE ALL CHANGES ON THE FORUM AND THE TELEGRAM CHANNEL.
Only official NAF-recognized teams may be used.
Humans, Old World Alliance, Imperial Nobility, Black Orcs, Snotlings, Orcs, Dwarves, High Elves, Skaven, Dark Elves, Chaos, Chaos Dwarves, Undead, Amazons, Goblins, Halflings, Wood Elves, Necromantic, Elven Union, Nurgle, Khorne, Khemri, Norse, Ogres, Vampires, Lizardmen, Slann, Underworld, Chaos Renegades, and Gnomes.
Team creation rules:
Instructions for roster creation:
Since this tournament is somewhat peculiar with two "franchise" players, it's necessary to identify them, as the "Rising Star Player" changes throughout the tournament. Therefore we're adding two small conditions when creating the roster.
VETERAN STAR PLAYER: Create a player with both skills and the stat increase exactly as is.
RISING STAR PLAYER:
On the day of the tournament, each coach will be given a roster marking each round's increases on the franchise player.
Teams participating in the tournament are structured into 5 different tiers. For each tier, a different number of skills are offered for your players (or the possibility of playing a Star Player).
Tier 1 Amazons, Bretonnia, Wood Elves, Underworld, Necromantic, Orcs, Vampires, Old World Alliance
4 primary skills + Veteran Star Player + Rising Star Player.
Tier 2 Dark Elves, Skaven, Dwarves, Lizardmen, Undead, Imperial Nobility, Norse, Tomb Kings
5 primary skills + Veteran Star Player + Rising Star Player
Tier 3 High Elves, Chaos, Chaos Dwarves, Humans, Khorne*, Elven Union
5 primary skills + 1 secondary skill + Veteran Star Player + Rising Star Player
Tier 4 Nurgle*, Black Orcs, Chaos Renegades, Slann
6 primary skills + 1 secondary skill + Veteran Star Player + Rising Star Player
Tier 5 Goblins, Gnomes, Snotlings, Ogres and Halflings
6 primary skills + 2 secondary skills + Veteran Star Player + Rising Star Player + possibility of 1 Star Player (see explanation and penalties below in the "Star Players" section)
Each team may have one "promise" player (rookie prospect). This player is one of your most important assets, since in the last tournament he started to stand out in the Blood Bowl world and has become a star of the game.
This player can receive 1 stat increase + 1 primary skill + 1 secondary skill (or another primary skill).
Along with the "Rising Star Player", he will be the only player who can stack different skills unless otherwise indicated.

Matches will last 120 minutes. We all know many things can happen that prevent this duration from being respected, so it's up to the players to do their best to finish matches on time and not slow down the rest of the tournament.
Whenever a coach wants, the classic rule of 4 minutes per turn can be activated at any point in the match. For any doubts, the organization will be happy to scold your opponent.
In case of a forfeit due to no-show, the opponent will be awarded a 3-0 victory with 3 casualties.
The tournament will be Resurrection format and matches will be considered "exhibition" matches for game purposes.
This is a "Resurrection" tournament; all injuries suffered during matches by our team's players, including death, will disappear at the end of each match. In other words, the team is rebuilt. Even so, team doctors are useful for recovering injured or even unconscious players during the match.
The main goal is to enjoy the game. These events are an opportunity to reunite with friends, meet new people, and play against different opponents than those we usually face.
Use of the tournament dice is mandatory. Dice from this edition as well as from past editions can be used.
The figure of the referee is not usually necessary, but sometimes there's no choice but to resort to them. They will signal the end of matches and resolve doubts and disputes, with their decisions being final.
In case of doubt, the rulebook will be consulted, and if the rules don't cover a particular aspect, and the referees cannot give an answer, the situation will be decided by rolling a die (odd or even) to determine who is right.
Match duration will be a maximum of 2 hours, with the organization able to grant extra time if deemed appropriate.
Players are expected to be punctual when attending the rounds set by the organization, with the possibility of disqualifying players who do not show up for their round or whose delay harms the smooth running of the tournament.
It is the players' responsibility to remember and control the following situations:
Whenever possible, play will return to the situation or point where the roll was forgotten or the error was made within the same turn; however, if the situation is detected after scoring a Touchdown and picking up the players, the score will be considered valid for all purposes.
Use of a stopwatch for 4-minute turns is permitted, and the organization has some available to lend if needed.
No unsportsmanlike behavior, cheating, or disrespect will be tolerated. The referees/organization reserve the right to expel any player they consider to be disturbing the good atmosphere of the tournament, who will then be banned from future editions.
The presence of companions, including minors, is the sole responsibility of the participating player who brings them to the event.
The organization is not responsible for the supervision, care, or behavior of such companions.
If a companion's behavior interferes with the normal running of the tournament, bothers other players, or creates uncomfortable situations, the organization may require the responsible player to take appropriate measures to resolve the situation immediately.
If the problem persists, the organization reserves the right to apply measures it deems necessary, including sanctions against the player involved or, as a last resort, their expulsion from the tournament.
Participation in the tournament implies acceptance of this rule.
All proceeds will go towards prizes, trophies, and gifts for participants.
There will also be racial pins for the best coach in each represented race.
NOTE: Only 1 trophy may be won per coach. If a coach wins several trophies, they may choose the one they prefer, and the one they give up will pass to the next-placed finisher in that category.

Regarding organizing a joint meal for the tournament, we're sad to inform you that it won't be possible, for reasons beyond the organization's control.
Since Cocentaina is a small town and food options are limited, we have decided:
a) La Casa de la Joventut will remain open so that anyone who wants to buy/order something "to go" from the Chinese Restaurant, Burger King, takeaway food places, Mercadona (which don't have tables to eat at) will have a "warm" place to eat comfortably. You'll also have tournament drinks at popular prices.
b) We will provide a list of shops/bars/restaurants where you can go to eat or buy food to go, such as the Chinese Restaurant, Kebab place, Burger King, Mercadona, etc., to make it easier to find options. Several of them will require traveling by car.
We do recommend booking a table or placing your takeaway order in advance and arranging a time. Since if you all go to the same establishment at once, they might not be able to serve everyone.
Cocentaina is not the town of the damned nor the end of the world... but it's not a big city, it's small, and the services it offers have their peculiarities.
Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

PARTICIPATION IN THE TOURNAMENT IMPLIES ACCEPTANCE OF ALL THE RULES. THE ORGANIZATION RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MODIFY THE RULES IF IT DEEMS APPROPRIATE, NOTIFYING OF THIS IN THIS THREAD.
