BB7s Showtime IV is a Blood Bowl Sevens tournament in resurrection style, lasting 4 matches, a stage of the second season of the "Giostra Tileana" of Blood Bowl 7s, the circuit that brings together the main BB7s tournaments of Northern Italy and is inspired by the legendary Tilean cities of the Warhammer world, in this case Verezzo.
The event will be held on Saturday, September 5th in the park of the Biblioteca Civica Augusto Marinoni in Legnano (MI), together with the AMIGO - Altomilanese in Gioco event organized by LAM - Ludoteca Altomilanese; in case of bad weather, a covered space will be guaranteed for the event.
The ruleset used is based on the official BB2025 rulebook and the latest Teams Of Legend, FAQ and Errata, plus the latest edition of the Slann team and the latest NAF recommendation on rules, except for the exceptions specified below and pending the release of official publications dedicated to Sevens for the BB2025 edition.
Each coach will have a number of extra skills to assign to their players, according to the table below and following the indicated rules:
Tier 1: AIC + 1 primary skill (non Elite) - Amazon, Dark Elves, Elven Union, High Elves, Lizardmen, Skaven, Underworld Denizens, Vampires, Wood Elves, OWA, Necromantic Horrors
Tier 2: AIC + 2 primary skills (non Elite) - Norse, Humans, Imperial Nobilities, Orc, Chaos Chosen
Tier 3: AIC + 1 primary skill (also Elite) + 1 secondary skill (non Elite) - Black Orc, Bretonnia, Chaos Dwarves, Chaos Renegades, Dwarves, Khorne, Nurgle, Shambling Undead, Slann, Tomb Kings
Tier 4: AIC + 2 primary skills (also Elite) + 1 secondary skill (non Elite) - Gnomes, Goblin, Halfling, Ogre, Snotling
Skill stacking is not allowed (multiple skills on the same player);
it is possible to give up the AIC role to assign a primary skill (also Elite) to any player (without following the limitations described in the "Player-Coach" section);
it is possible to give up a secondary skill for a primary skill that can also be Elite;
it is possible to add only one Elite skill per team, giving up the AIC or replacing a secondary skill (you cannot give up both the AIC and a secondary skill to have two additional primary Elite skills).
Background: Verezzo rises inland and dominates the fertile surrounding plain with its high ramparts. The city is very compact but also very populous, the streets are narrow and winding and the houses are built in layers due to lack of space; some buildings have risen so high they have become towers.
Home Rule: "Let me through, I'm a player!" A random player is blocked by the crowd, sure that he is bluffing. He misses the first Drive of the match. He can be substituted if you have reserves.
Points obtained by each player will also contribute to the general individual ranking of the Giostra Tileana, according to the rules reported on the Giostra document.
Some rules of the new edition need small adaptations to fit the Sevens mode, pending an official supplement from GW:
