Les Canuts Lards present the Challenge Guignol!
Individual tournament in 3 Swiss rounds to be held in Lyon at the Maison de Quartier Paul Bert Vilette on October 4, 2026.

Same budget for all: 1280 kPO. The budget is used to buy players, staff, rerolls, inducements and skills.
Skills
Star Players
The Challenge Guignol suffers from a glaring lack of fame and no star player deigns to appear there... With the exception of charitable works towards teams renowned for their love of good food: only halflings and ogres.
Guignol and Gendarme
When creating their team, the coach must choose 2 "three-quarter" players. These 2 players cannot have received skills when creating the team. They are respectively called "Guignol" and "Gendarme".
The "Guignol" receives the "Baton" skill which gives him the equivalent of the "Chataigne" skill only when he uses it against a "gendarme".
The "Gendarme" receives the "Resilience" skill which gives him the equivalent of "Thick Skull" only when he is injured by a "Guignol".
Except for injuries or KOs, gendarmes must be on the field at the moment of kickoff.

Team Tiers
Teams are divided into 4 tiers, as listed here:
Tiers take effect at match setup: The higher-tier player can remove as many skills as the tier difference between the 2 teams!
(Example: A Tier 2 team faces a Tier 4 team. The Tier 4 team coach removes 2 skills from the Tier 2 team. If the teams are the same Tier, there is no skill removal).
Skill removal rules are as follows:
Air Force One
Rosters comprising ONLY players with strength less than or equal to 1 can ignore the "Insignificant" rule!
Their coaches can also hire star players if the said star players have strength less than or equal to 1 and accept to be paid in nuts, acorns or hazelnuts!
These rosters keep the Tier assigned to their race.
Tiebreakers
Victory: 5 points Equality: 2 points Defeat: Nothing, zero, zilch... Concession: Must do the dishes.
