08/15 Cup 2026

Overview

Food and beverages are included in the entry fee.

The 08/15 Cup is essentially an open-air event. In case of rain, the tournament will take place at a different venue.

The maximum number of participants is 20 coaches.

Rules

The tournament is played according to the current Eurobowl rules #Euro2026

Time Limit: Game duration is 2 hours 30 minutes. If the second half has not started after 1 hour 30 minutes, play continues with a chess clock, with each coach having 30 minutes available.

If one of the two coaches has no remaining time on the clock, they may only perform the following actions: players lying on the ground can only stand up (but not move further) and injured players turn onto their backs.

If one of the two coaches wishes to play with a chess clock, a chess clock must be used.

Please download a chess clock app or bring a physical chess clock before the tournament.

What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG):

• It is the duty of every player to use models that the opposing coach can clearly identify.
• Suitable tabletop figures must be used, either from Games Workshop or from one of the numerous third-party manufacturers.
• Cute animals and similar "funny" figures are not allowed.
• Proxying is generally not allowed, meaning dwarves are not wood elves, halflings are not gnomes, etc.
• Conversions are explicitly welcomed, and if something is well made, there is generally a willingness to accept deviations from WYSIWYG.
• In case of doubt, please ask the organizers before the tournament (preferably with pictures) whether your team can be used or not.

Painting: All figures, including additional zombies/rotters, must be painted. The opponent may remove all unpainted figures of the opposing team after consultation with the organizers. I appeal to coaches not to push the boundary of what could be considered "painted." Priming black and splattering two other colors somewhere is still not painted and may not be used.

Scoring System: Swiss system is used.

• Victory = 4 points
• Draw = 2 points
• Loss with a one TD difference = 1 point
• Loss with two or more TDs difference = 0 points
• Forfeit = -2 points

Required information: your name, your NAF nickname (if you already have one), and your NAF number if applicable.

Entry fee: EUR 15.00, cash only at the door.

Please send your roster to the above email address at least three days before the tournament.

NAF Membership

The tournament is exclusively for NAF members.

If you are not yet a NAF member, you automatically become a NAF member upon participation in the 08/15 Cup and will receive the current NAF goodie shortly.

NAF membership for new members at the 08/15 Cup is free and will be offset against the entry fee already paid.
