Day 1 - August 29
Day 2 - August 30
This tournament is free of charge, but a donation of your choice can be made to Barncancerfonden (SWISH). Sign up by registering your roster in Tourplay before August 22. If any coach has two teams registered after August 22 the organizers will remove one of them at random. Please do not register a team if you do not intend to attend the tournament, as places are limited.
Pairing: Coaches are paired using Swiss pairing. This is an exhibition format, and all teams will start each match as rostered (no SPPs or Casualties are applied from one match to the other).
Team Creation: Teams may be purchased using 1,000,000 GC. Official Blood Bowl teams may be used. NAF teams are not allowed.
Additional Skills: All teams may give their players additional skills (see ruleset document).
Sideline Staff: To represent the nature of Budget Bowl, re-rolls for all teams cost double the amount listed on the roster. E.g., a re-roll that is normally 50K will be 100K for this tournament.
Inducements: No inducements are allowed in Budget Bowl - with coaches this cheap, they'd pocket any extra cash! However, Goblin teams are issued a free Bribe for each match.
Star Players: In Budget Bowl, no Star Players are allowed, they're simply considered too expensive!
Match Points:
*All Casualties that would normally award SPPs count.
Tiebreaker (in order):
For this tournament theme, the idea is to put together a team as cheaply as possible. This doesn't mean you can't use official models, but the idea is to try to use other items you might have lying around. However, please try to mark your player types as clearly as possible (for example by putting them on painted bases!) for easier playing. You are also welcome to paint your 'models', but since paint is expensive, you don't have to!
Also, remember that models should fit within the regular squares on the board!
You are also encouraged to bring:
This is a NAF-sanctioned event.
The tournament utilizes TourPlay (https://tourplay.net/en), and so we recommend all players to familiarize themselves with this before the tournament, sign up for the tournament as it comes online (which will be approximately one week before the tournament), and create their team in the Tour Play team builder.
