Veteran Rule: Each team must choose one "Lineman" to be a veteran as described in the Spike! Issue 22 sevens rulebook.
Team Captain: Before the tournament, each team nominates a captain who receives Leader as a free skill before assigning their skill package (the captain can be the same player as the selected Veteran).

- Any Inducements allowed at the event (Spike! Issue 22, pages 14-15)
- Maximum of 1 Desperate Measure per team
- Additional Dedicated Fans, up to a maximum of 6, at 10,000 gold pieces per Dedicated Fan purchased

- No stacking of skills allowed during team drafting
Mid-Tournament Skill Progression: At the end of rounds 1-4, one random player (including captain) receives 1 random Primary skill to keep for the rest of the tournament (rolled for by opponent). Stacking of skills can occur during this phase.
Team Documentation: Coaches are expected to record all team details on a Team Draft list for the event and have it available for opponents and Tournament Organisers if requested.
Special Rules
Weather: All games will roll on the "coastal weather table" (because it's Hull).
Feud! Game Event: Each game will use a version of the "Feud!" Game event from the start.
- During set up for each game, one random player on each team have beef with each other
- When they block or blitz each other, they get +2 strength and Mighty Blow +1
- The feud is "settled" once one of these players is knocked out or better; the victorious coach gets the bonus points and adds 1 to their "feuds settled" tally
- A feud can be settled with a Foul, so long as the fouling player is the one with the Feud
- A feud cannot be settled with a "Both Down" that results in both players being KO or better - neither player is conscious enough to remember winning that scrap, so the feud remains unsettled
Scoring System

- Win: 30 points
- Draw: 10 points
- Loss: 0 points
Bonus Points:
- 1 point for 3 or more Touchdowns
