Elevens: SlaughterDays!
Please note: This ruleset applies to coaches participating in Friday, Saturday or both days.
SlaughterDay is back and better than ever. In fact, it's gotten so big it can't be contained to a single day! SlaughterDay has become SlaughterDays, a two day, 3-round Blood Bowl spectacle. Prepare yourself for big hits, big plays, and even bigger action. Coaches can sign up for 1 day or both days!
Due to the incredible demand from you, our raving-mad Blood Bowl fanatics, the stakes have been raised higher than ever before. The SlaughterDays planning commission has decreed severe penalties for any Coach caught stalling the action during the game. The crowds have been given rocks and whipped into a frenzy. Stall at your own risk coaches!
Do you have what it takes to be crowned the NOVA Open Blood Bowl Champion?!
NOVA Open Biased Referees
This year your Tournament Organizers decided to don their referee shirts and get their hands dirty in a brand new way… as Biased Referees! Each TO brings something new to the game, providing a small benefit to both coaches.
At the beginning of each round, before determining who kicks or receives, the Home Coach rolls a D6 and consults the table below. That NOVA Open Biased Referee is officiating your game. Yikes, good luck?
- 1. NAF Sanctioned Ref - Congratulations. You got a NAF Sanctioned Ref. Enjoy your completely normal, mundane game of Blood Bowl.
- 2. Joe - Fouling is my Favorite Part of the Game! Professor Joe (aka, Dr. Joe, aka ProfGoldfinch) loves to see teams foul and always makes sure to give each team a couple opportunities to really put that boot in. Any player caught Fouling during their team's first two fouls automatically count as rolling "When you put it like that..." when Arguing the Call. This still results in a Turnover.
- 3. Griff - Is that a Halfling or a Kid? Truthfully it doesn't matter. The approach is the same, and Griff loves snacks. Each team receives a free Bribe for the match. This bribe automatically succeeds. Snacks ALWAYS work on Mr. Griffin.
- 4. Pox - No. Put the boot here! Pox can't stop himself from helping the rookies foul. Once per game, each coach can add +1 to the armor and injury of a foul. This decision can be made after rolling for armor. The player making the foul is immediately spotted by the ref. The coach may Argue the Call or Bribe as usual.
- 5. Kyle - Lets see some good clean play. Kyle wants to see the players on the pitch making plays. Players on both teams receive a +1 to KO rolls due to his active encouragement. A natural 1 on a KO roll is still a failure.
- 6. Nancy - The Blood Bowl Ambassador. Somehow everyone knows who Nancy is. She's an international Blood Bowl sensation. Being an ambassador is hard work, and Nancy doesn't have time for the Joes shenanigans. After a player fouls, even if they didn't roll doubles, the opposing coach rolls a D6. On a 5+, the player is treated as being caught by the ref. Additionally, coaches cannot argue the call for Secret Weapons. Bribes may still be used.
