Team Creation
- You will have 650,000 gold pieces to construct your team.
- Additionally, you have 100,000 Sand Dollars to spend at the Sand Dollar Stand (page 4).
- Gold pieces can be converted to Sand Dollars at a 1:1 exchange rate, but Sand Dollars CANNOT be converted into gold pieces.
- The costs of all Team Re-rolls are doubled their normal value.
- Assistant Coaches and Cheerleaders can be hired at 20,000 gold pieces each.
- Your team can only include 4 positional players. For purposes of this rule, a positional player is any player that is not a 0-16 player on your roster.
- Each team can give the Leader skill to one player for free (that player must have Passing skill access in some capacity).
- Each team will be given Nurgull the Seabird, a Blessed Seagull star player at no cost. He does not count toward the team's positional limit or toward their team value -- he is free for all teams.
- You must have at least 7 players (not including Nurgull) and no more than 11 players (including Nurgull) on your team roster.
- Each team can give one primary skill or one secondary skill to one of their players. This is in addition to the free Leader skill given to one player. You can also put your one skill onto your Leader player.

- Cost: 80,000 (Free for Brookhurst Beach Bowl III competitors)

Plague Carrier: Once per game, Nurgull the Seabird can declare a Plague Carrier Special Action.
When this player performs a Plague Carrier Special Action, select a Standing Opposition player adjacent to this player and roll a D6. On a 2+, this player vomits on their target; make an Armour Roll for the selected player. This Armour Roll cannot be modified in any way. If the player's armour is broken, make an Injury Roll for them. After the action has been resolved, even if the player's armour is not broken, that player reduces all of their characteristics by 1 until the end of the game, and that player suffers a -1 penalty on any Recovery Rolls made to recover from a Mild or Serious Knockout. If the player succeeds on a Recovery Roll after having suffered a Mild or Serious Knockout, they no longer suffer the negative effects of this special rule. On a 1, nothing happens.
This player may use the Plague Carrier Special Action to replace the Block Action made as part of a Blitz Action if they wish, though their activation will still end as soon as they have performed the Plague Carrier Special Action.
