The Thunderbowl Highlander is back! This time we're running the new Season 3 rules AND beta-testing the upcoming Spike 2026 roster builds too.
## How does Highlander team selection work?
1. There can be only one of each team.
2. This means coaches need to register their top 3 choices via our google form:

3. Teams are assigned based on a draw for each tier, starting with the lowest (tier 6) and working up to tier 1.
4. If a team is available and your first choice, it's yours!
5. If there are two or more coaches picking the same team we'll do a roll-off and the losers will earn a tie-breaker for their remaining picks
6. After Tier is drawn, any coach can choose an unclaimed team.
7. There will be a waiver period between the end of the draft and the day before the tournament. Coaches can claim and available team. After 24 hours that team is resolved similar to the draft--tie-breakers will go to any coach who had the team as a draft choice. Any previously claimed teams us released when a waiver wire claim is succesful.

SP cost varies by star. Average is 2-4 SP but more for megastars
