Once, vast crowds gathered beneath the blazing sun to watch the legendary heroes of the astrogranate compete for glory before the mighty God‑Kings of Khemri. For centuries since, only the lonely cry of a circling vulture has disturbed the stillness. The camel‑burger vendors and fermented‑scorpion‑venom stalls — once alive with the roar of hungry Blood Bowl fans — lie buried beneath drifting sands and the weight of forgotten ages. But not for much longer. The Tomb Kings of Khemri have risen once again, and they are ready to stride onto the Blood Bowl fields of the Old World. Their skeletal limbs may creak like badly maintained stadium turnstiles, but their competitive spirit burns brighter than ever. With their awakening comes the revival of one of Nehekhara’s most coveted honours: the Scarab Series. Teams from across the Old World are invited to battle through three gruelling games on the scorpion‑infested, sand‑choked pitches before the Black Pyramid of Settra. The victors will become the first Blood Bowl team in three millennia to hoist the legendary Scarab Series Trophy.
