The tournament consists of 3 games of Blood Bowl using the BB2025 / Third Season ruleset.
Coaches will play 3 games against 3 different opponents. The first round will be paired randomly, and Swiss pairings will be used for rounds 2 and 3. This will be a resurrection format: your roster resets after each match (no SPP, injuries, raised dead etc.).
The official Blood Bowl rules, and all current FAQs and errata published up to the date of the tournament will be in effect. In the event of any rules disagreements, TO's decision is final.
Eligible teams include all official GW teams released before the end of August 2026. NB. Slann will not be allowed at this event.
For this tournament we will be using Gold Piece Buy: each tier has a Gold Piece allowance, and coaches can spend that money to build their team however they want, including purchasing skills at will.
Team build guidelines:
Star Players can bought freely by any team, as long as they are usually able to play for that team. You must roster 11 regular players before you can add Stars, and cannot have more than 16 players after Stars are hired. Maximum 2x Star Players can be bought by any team (any paired Stars count as a single pick for these purposes, but still count as 2 players on your roster).
Mega Stars are permitted, but no team may hire more than 1 Mega Star (Mega Star + Regular Star is allowed). Additionally, any team hiring a Mega Star has to pay an additional celebrity appearance fee of 25k gp. (Add this to TourPlay as a Team Mascot to account for it; you will not gain the benefit of the Team Mascot)
For this tournament, the Mega Star list is: Morg'n'Thorg, Rippa Bolgrot, Skrorg Snowpelt, Grak & Crumbleberry, Griff Oberwald, H'Thark the Unstoppable, Hakflem Skuttlespike, Skitter Stab-Stab.
All inducements from the BB2025 rulebook are available for purchase at their listed cost, with the exception of Prayers to Nuffle and Team Mascot which are banned.
