The Team Building Rules below will be in use:
The Risky Rollers 2026 Blood Bowl season will follow the team building rules described below. The Tourplay events themselves should present these and only these options on signup as well, although in the interest of accessibility this document has been provided alongside the player pack (and if you believe a legal choice is prevented on Tourplay, please reach out to Dalton via discord, messenger, or email at dalton@riskyrollers.tv ).
Teams have a budget of 1 100 000 gold, which includes inducements (which must be rostered), and any unspent gold will be lost. Star Players may only be induced as per the skill packs and additional rules listed below.
Skill Packs:
In addition to the starting skills on your roster all teams will have additional skills that they can add to their roster. Access to skills are split into 2 options and tiered as follows. Elite Skills are additionally restricted based on skill pack.
Tier 1 Option A: 6 Primary Skills, Max 2 elite skills.
Tier 1 Option B: 3 Primary Skills, No elite skills, & 1 Star Player
Tier 2 Option A: 6 Primary Skills, 1 Secondary Skill, Max 4 Elite Skills.
Tier 2 Option B: 3 Primary Skills, 1 Secondary Skill, Max 2 Elite Skills, & 1 Star Player
Tier 3 Option A: 6 Primary Skills, 2 Secondary Skills, Max 6 Elite Skills, & 1 Star Player
Tier 3 Option B: 3 Primary Skills, 1 Secondary Skill, Max 2 Elite Skills, & 2 Star Players
Tier 4 Option A: 6 Primary Skills, 2 Secondary Skills, Max 6 Elite Skills, & 1 Star Player
Tier 4 Option B: 3 Primary Skills, 2 Secondary Skills, Max 4 Elite Skills, & 2 Star Players
These additional skills are all allocated at the start of the tournament so they remain relevant for all 4 matches. The secondary skill(s) can be swapped to a primary skill if you wish. One player may take two additional skills, all others may only take one additional skill. There is no restriction to skill duplication i.e. you may give several different players the same skill if you wish. Statistic improvements and random skills cannot be selected.
Blood Bowl team races are split into the default tiers according to the latest Designer’s Commentary as of the rules cutoff for each relevant event.
Star Players:
When rostering a Star player the following rules must be followed:
You must first roster 11 regular players before adding a star player to your team.
If 2 coaches are drawn against each other with the same Star player on their roster, both players are permitted to use them.
Star players cannot be allocated additional skills.
Megastars may not be taken as a part of your roster.
