Welcome to the first Inaugral Arkadius Gaming Club one day tournament.
This has been the dream for some time making the most of a strong league based at the club.
The current aim is to get up to 32 people to make a day of it.
There is limited parking nearby and whilst tea/coffee and tick shop is present there is no food (but a 5 minute walk into Loughborough).
We are using the Welsh Championships rules to keep it simple and allow us to add to the database of tournament results to help future tiering.
No star players.
1150 GC a team
7 Primary Skills per team (can trade in two primary for a single secondary)
No stacking of skills
Random pairing for round 1 and then Swiss pairing.

Each round is 2hr 15 minutes with very limited opportunity to overrun. Chess clocks are encouraged if you are struggling to keep up with the pace.
