Team Building
Coaches have 1,120,000 gold pieces to build your team. You may purchase players, rerolls, fan factor, coaches, and cheerleaders as normal with this money. You may also use this money to give any player a Chainsaw (+ Secret Weapon) skills for 50,000 gold pieces. This player can not have any skills added when assigning skills.
No Wizards, Mercs, Cards, Prayers to Nuffle, or inducements not in the new core rule book.
You may purchase any other inducements for your team, including Star Players
Note: If you are including a Star Player, you must have 11 players on your team BEFORE hiring him. Having 10 players plus a Star is not allowed.
The Highlander rule is in effect! You cannot have the same Star Player as your opponent. If both of you attempt to field the same player, then that star player has swindled you both!! Neither of you can field them. Also, you cannot use Igors or Apothecaries on Star Players.
Skill building:
Tier 1 teams: Any team with a megastar will get 20,000k to buy skills
Tier 2: armor teams: Dwarves, Chaos Dwarves, Orcs, or any team with any star player without a chainsaw will be given 80,000 gold pieces to buy skills
Tier 3 teams: All other teams will be given 120,000 gold pieces to buy skills. (Star players with chainsaws are allowed)
Primary Skills cost 20,000 each
Secondary Skills cost 40,000 each
You may not purchase any stat upgrades
You may give two players up to two additional skills
Note: Elite skills cost the 10,000k extra!
After building your team- One player from your team must take the Chainsaw and secret weapon skills for no cost. This player must be fielded in your starting 11, and cannot have been assigned any skills during team building. (You could give it to a Wardancer, but not a lineman that was given block and dodge during skill assignments)
