TOURNAMENT FORMAT
The championship will take place on Saturday, October 25th, 2025.
Each coach will play three matches.
In the first round, coaches will be paired randomly. After that, the Swiss pairing method will be used.
Each match will have a maximum duration of 2 hours and 15 minutes, and the time rule may be applied. Once the round time ends, referees may stop the game with the score as it stands to begin the next round.

TOURNAMENT RULES
The tournament will use the current Blood Bowl 2020 rules, along with any new Spike! Magazines released between now and the event.
Necromantic, Undead, and Nurgle teams may raise the dead when causing casualties, gaining an extra player for that specific match, as described in the Blood Bowl 2020 rulebook.
All team miniatures must be appropriate for their positions or properly converted to clearly represent them.
There is no penalty for unpainted teams, as long as both coaches agree and there is no confusion.
Only NAF-approved official teams are allowed. These include:
Humans, Old World Alliance, Imperial Nobility, Black Orcs, Snotlings, Orcs, Dwarfs, High Elves, Skaven, Dark Elves, Chaos Chosen, Chaos Dwarfs, Undead, Amazons, Goblins, Halflings, Wood Elves, Gnomes, Necromantic, Elven Union, Nurgle, Khorne, Tomb Kings (Khemri), Norse, Ogres, Vampires, Lizardmen, Slann, Underworld, and Chaos Renegades.
---
TEAM CREATION
Teams will receive gold coins based on the Tier of their chosen race to build their roster and purchase inducements.
Any leftover money after team creation does not count toward team value or prayers to Nuffle — all teams are considered of equal value.
Teams must include a minimum of 11 players and a maximum of 16, including up to 0–2 Star Players (for tier 6 and 7 only, see below).
You must have 11 rostered players before adding a Star Player.
If both teams field the same Star Player, neither may use them.
Gold can also be spent on re-rolls, assistant coaches, cheerleaders, apothecary, fan factor, referees, etc.
Tier Races Skills Budget
1 Amazons, Dark Elves, Dwarfs, Undead, Underworld, Vampires 8 Primary 1,070k
2 Skaven, Lizardmen, Orcs, Norse, Wood Elves 8 Primary 1,100k
3 Chaos Chosen, Humans, Necromantic, Khorne, Chaos Renegades 8 Primary + 1 Secondary 1,100k
4 Chaos Dwarfs, Slann, High Elves, Black Orcs, Imperial Nobility 8 Primary + 1 Secondary 1,130k
5 Elven Union, Tomb Kings, Nurgle 9 Primary + 1 Secondary 1,130k
6 Halflings, Snotlings, Old World Alliance, Gnomes 9 Primary + 1 Secondary 1,150k
7 Goblins, Ogres 9 Primary + 2 Secondary 1,150k
Skill assignment is progressive ( you get an amount of skills in each round) and is divided equally between rounds in the following way:
8 skills → 3 in the first round – 2 in the second round – 3 in the third round
9 skills → 3–3–3
10 skills → 3-3-4
11 skills → 4-3-4
If there are secondary skills, they are assigned in the first allocation (if there are two, one is added in the first and one in the second).
No stacking of skills is allowed.
All teams may purchase any inducement allowed for their race, according to the most recent rules, except the following, which are banned:
Mercenaries
Cards
Wizards
Any inducements from Death Zone (e.g., special mercenaries, etc.)
Star Players are allowed only for Tier 6 and Tier 7, and only in rounds where there are enough skills to trade them for:
Tier 6 may include 1 Star Player
Tier 7 may include up to 2 Star Players
---
STAR PLAYERS
Each Star Player costs a number of secondary skills equal to the hundreds digit of their cost + 1.
You may instead use 2 primary skills per lost secondary if none remain, but all secondary slots must be used first.
Bomber dribblesnot and cindy are banned from this tournament.
Other Mega-Star have an extra tax of 2 spp.
Examples:
Morg'n Thorg (380k) → removes 4 secondary skills (or 8 primary) for costing 380k + 1 secondary skill (or 2 primary) for being a Mega-Star.
Count Luthor con Drakenborg (340k) → removes 4 secondary skills (or 8 primary).
Star Player worth under 100k → removes 1 secondary (or 2 primaries).
100k–199k → removes 2 secondaries (or 4 primaries).
200k–299k → removes 3 secondaries (or 6 primaries).
Over 300k → removes 4 secondaries (or 8 primaries).
If you end up with 0 remaining skills, you cannot take another Star Player.

REFEREES & SPORTSMANSHIP
These events are meant to celebrate Blood Bowl and bring together players from different regions for a great day of games and fun.
Winning is secondary — the main goal is to enjoy the game and the community.
If any rules disputes arise, players should consult the rulebook.
If a situation isn’t covered, tournament referees have the final say, and their decisions must be accepted.
Players are responsible for tracking:
Bonehead, Really Stupid, Take Root, and Animal Savagery rolls
Illegal setups and number of players on the pitch
Whenever possible, the game will be rewound to the point of the missed roll within the same turn.
However, if the issue is discovered after a touchdown and the teams have reset, the touchdown will stand.
