the NAF, to be paid on the day of the tournament). Registration fees are non-refundable!
We're keeping the money! Just kidding, of course, but cancellations less than two weeks
before the event will only be refunded if the accounts allow it.
Registration:
The registration fee includes goodies, breakfast, lunch on Saturday (Lebanese buffet) and
Sunday (sandwich buffet). Many Belgian specialties (yes, beers!) will be available throughout
the tournament to prevent heatstroke.
Registration will only be valid after receipt of the registration fee and submission of the
registration form available on the following gform:

- Tournament schedule & prizes:
A quick vocabulary lesson to ensure we are all on the same page:
- Coach (human player)
- Roster (set of miniatures making up a team)
- Duo (pair of two Coaches)
- Twin duo: a pair of coaches dressed identically throughout the event (like Dupont and Dupond). However, creativity is only limited by the boundaries we set for it. Laurel and Hardy
are not dressed identically, but they are inseparable, so be our Asterix and Obelix (or
Dogmatix, but soft, as we are expecting children :)).
As you will have understood, the tournament is based around twin pairs who will be offered various bonuses during the tournament. Various round effects will impact the different
rounds. Without giving too much away, just know that, like yin and yang, complementarity will be the key! Therefore, the tournament is not strictly competitive, but harmony and
complementarity in the "twin" duo could be the key to success!
The pairings for the first round will be random. The following rounds will be organized in a double Swiss round format.
The following prizes will be awarded during this tournament:
1st duo
2nd duo
3rd duo
Charismatic duo: best twin costumes + most remarkable roster + fair-play during the event (at the organizers’ discretion)
Other pairs, but insignificant compared to the charismatic pair
- Creation of Rosters & Tie-breaks:
Each coach will have 1,100k gold coins to build their roster, plus adjustments based on the tier of the selected roster. Each of the two coaches on the same team must play a roster from a different tier.
Primary skill = 1SPP
Secondary skill = 2SPP
Stacking of 2 primary skills = 3SPP (takes up one primary skill slot and one secondary skill slot).
Each duo will be given access to a bonus pack that can be used to complete their roster(s).
Thanks to their budget, each Coach will be able to purchase, in addition to their players:
- Re-rolls (0-8)
- Assistant Coaches (0-6)
- Cheerleaders (0-12)
- an Apothecary (0-1 depending on the rosters)
- Devoted Fans (0-6) (starting at 0)
Helping Hands:
In addition to the above, each Coach may purchase the following boosts:
• 0-3 Bribes (50k for "Blackmail and Corruption" rosters, 100k for all other rosters)
• 0-1 Halfling Master Chef (100k for Halflings, 300k for all other rosters)
• 0-2 Budweiser Kegs (50k)
• 0-1 Riotous Rookies (100k, only for "Linemen at a Low Price" rosters)
• 0-1 Biased Referee (80k for "Blackmail and Corruption" rosters, 120k for all other rosters)
• 0-1 Giant Mercenary (350k, for all rosters)
• 0-1 Mortuary Assistant
• 0-1 Weather Mage
• 0-1 Plague Doctor

STARPLAYER
Only one coach per duo may select one star player for their roster. ALL star players are available (by paying their purchase cost in gold coins)
EXCEPT Bomber Dribblesnot and Cindy Piewhistle.
A roster must hire at least 11 players before a star player can be recruited. A star player with the “Two for One” special rule (such as the ‘Swift Twins’) is considered a single star player
choice.
PACKS:
Each duo must select one pack from the following. Each pack includes bonuses (cash, skills, inducements, star players, etc.) that can be distributed between the two teams. Unless
otherwise stated, if the pack gives access to skills, these must be assigned to players who have access to them as their primary skill and cannot be combined with other added skills (either via the pack or via SPPs). In addition, each coach must receive at least two skills
(except for packs that do not allow this, of course).

Tie-Break:
Points will be counted as follows:
100 points for a win, 50 points for a draw
2/0/0: 200 pts
1/1/0: 150 pts
1/0/1: 100 pts
0/2/0: 100 pts
0/1/1: 50 points
0/0/2: 0 points
If two teams are tied on points at the end of round 5, the first tiebreaker will be the sum of the two tiers making up the duo. The duo with the highest number will be ranked higher.
The second tiebreaker will be the head-to-head matchup.
The third tiebreaker will be the difference between the touchdowns scored and conceded by the duo (priority given to those who scored the most touchdowns in the event of a tie).
The fourth (and hopefully final) tiebreaker will be the difference between the casualties inflicted and the casualties suffered by the duo (priority given to those who scored the most touchdowns in the event of a tie). If two duos are still tied, the tiebreaker will be decided by a draw.
