Get your motor runnin' and head out on the highway! Come join us for a Sevens kickoff event to Amorical Cup weekend, but be prepared for some Motor City Madness on the asphalt pitch on Friday night!
Rosters Due in PDF format to seanmcowley@gmail.com no later than May 1, 2026. If you submit by that deadline, you may include a free cheerleader on your roster.
Blood Bowl Sevens is a shorter, quicker version of the sport played on a smaller pitch by players who weren’t quite good enough to make it into the big leagues.
We will be using the official 7s rules from the 2021 Death Zone, as well as that manual's pricing for inducements (no desperate measures). But with the new shift to Third Season in the main elevens game, we will use the new Rosters for all teams, including the just-released High Elf Roster. No Teams of Legend Rosters will be used.
IN SHORT:
- All Blood Bowl races & rosters available from the Third Season Rulebook, Spike! Magazine for High Elves, as well as the NAF-approved roster for Slann. The updated Third Season rules roster for any Spike! Magazine team is also approved for any race issued at least 30 days prior to the tourney (updates will be given if Grandma Wendy issues a new team relatively close in proximity).
- No star players are allowed
- 600,000 gp to spend on your team
- You must hire 7 and up to 11 players, and only 4 non-linemen types allowed (your 0-12 positional)
- Re-rolls cost double (they’re amateurs)
- Inducements must be bought at team creation, at the pricing provided in the Death Zone manual. No wizards, infamous coaching staff, desperate measures, or other inducements not listed in the Sevens Rules may be induced (see Death Zone p.93 for a full list of allowed inducements).
- Don't have access to a Death Zone? Contact the TO, and we can walk through it together to build you a roster.
SKILLS: 1 normal/primary skill per team. The Leader skill is allowed.
Weather Table: Normal
Motor City Madness: As a nod to metro Detroit and its reputation as the Motor City, all races will be allowed to choose to add 0-1 of either a Dwarf Deathroller or a Snotling Pump Wagon to their roster. You will need to pay the hiring cost for that player from your starting gold, and they count as one of your four positional players. But wait, you may say... why would I want to roster a Blood Bowl motor vehicle when they have secret weapon? Fear not, friends... Detroit's former mayor went to federal prison on corruption charges! As a result, bribes are half price for all races! (if you are bribery and corruption teams, yes, that means your bribes are 1/4 price for 25k).
The Asphalt Jungle: All games will be played in a parking lot off 8 Mile. As a result, we can't guarantee that the asphalt has been repaired lately, and all balls will bounce an additional time. You may also Rush an additional time if you would like, but watch out for Michigan's state tree: the Orange and White Construction Zone Barrell! Any failed Rush will suffer a -1 on the AV check on the knockdown (it will not carry over to the injury roll).
