Skills are allocated as “new skill” rolls specified as either “primary” or “secondary” as per the Improvement Rolls table. You may only select one additional skill per player. There is no restriction to skill duplication i.e. you may give several different players the same skill if you wish. Statistic improvements and random skills cannot be selected.
• For the purpose of Haven Bowl, Hthark the Unstoppable and Jeremiah Kool are considered Mega-Star Players
o Blood Bowl team races are split into the following 3 tiers:

o Star Players
o When rostering a Star Player the following rules must be followed:
You must first roster 11 regular players before adding a Star Player to your team
• Star Players that are selected as a pair (such as the Swift Twins) count as 1 Star Player for the purposes of the 0-2 availability. If 2 coaches are drawn against each other with the same Star Player(s) on their roster, the Highlander rule is in effect; both coaches are NOT permitted to use them.
• Star Players cannot be allocated additional skills
Tournament Administration
o The Blood Bowl Spokane Spring Open 2025 Championship will be using Tourplay.net for administration. All roster builds will be hidden until registration is closed, two days before the tournament.
o Tourplay.net registration is now open!
Tournament Scoring
o After each round tournament points will be awarded as follows:
o Win: 3 points
o Draw: 1 point
o Loss: 0 points
Bonus Points will only be used for tie-breakers
o When your game is complete you need to submit your results on Tourplay.
o Only record casualties that would give Star Player Points in a league; casualties caused by fouls, crowd pushes, failed dodges, bombs, stabs, chainsaws etc… do not count.
o After round five, a winner will be declared (there is no final at The Blood Bowl Spokane Spring Open 2025 Championship; the team with the highest tournament points wins regardless of table position, as determined by tie-breakers).
o Players on the same points will be separated by the following tiebreakers:
1. Head-to-Head
2. TD Difference + CAS/2 Difference
3. TD Difference + CAS Difference
4. Sonneborn-Berger (opponent’s score) – Strength of Schedule as determined by Tourplay.net
5. TD Difference
6. CAS Difference
o Other than Head-to-Head, the final standings in Tourplay.net will be our final standings
o This is due to Tourplay determining Sonneborn-Berger score, and the Monrad Swiss method having an impact on standings.
Prizes
o Invitational
o Champion
o 2nd Place
o 3rd Place
o Best Offense
o Most Brutal
o Best Defense
o Stunty Cup (if three or more coaches participate; registration must be completed early enough for trophies to be made in time)
o Best Appearance (Paint Judging)
Code of Conduct
o Should you have any concerns or questions during your game, or between rounds, please speak to a referee. If they are asked to make a decision or judgement on a rule remember that their decision is final.
o Game completion: If a game is called by a referee after the allowed time for the round has expired, the game will end once the active coach has finished that single players activation, with NO further actions taken. As such it is in your interest to ensure you keep an eye on your and your opponent’s game time.
o Dice etiquette: The sharing of dice is encouraged, but is not mandatory. Establishing dice etiquette before the game starts is encouraged; it is important to clarify your respective interpretation of acceptably rolled dice, cocked dice, etc. before any important rolls are made. Agree on an approach and stick to it throughout.
o Handling miniatures: Always ask your opponent before handling their figures, and respect them if they prefer you not to.
