Special Rules
Release the Kraken
All games are played on the piers along the ocean. If a Weather Change is rolled on the kick-off table a Kraken tentacle will push its way through the floor and play havoc with the ensuing drive. After the weather change is resolved, both coaches roll a d6 (re-rolling ties.) The winning coach may place a Kraken Tentacle marker on the pitch, at least two squares away from the ball and any player. The tentacle will mark any player adjacent to it, but it will not assist on blocks or fouls. Any player next to a tentacle may block the tentacle to try to get it away from the pitch.
The Kraken Tentacle has the following profile

Stand Firm, Prehensile Tail, Tentacles, No Hands
The Kraken Tentacle will activate at the end of each players turn. If it is stunned it will unstun, if it is prone it stands up. If it is standing it will block a random square around it. Use the scatter template to determine where it blocks and if that square is occupied by a player make a block against it as normal. If that square is occupied by the ball the ball will scatter. If the Kraken Tentcale is knocked out or injured it is removed from the pitch.
