Team Building Rules
Teams are organized into four tiers based on strength, with different Team Value (TV) and skill allowances:
TIER 1: TV 1060k & 7 primary skills
- Amazon, Orc, Old World Alliance, Shambling Undead, Underworld Denizens
TIER 2: TV 1120k & 7 primary skills
- Dark Elf, High Elf, Human, Lizardmen, Necromantic Horror, Nurgle, Skaven, Tomb Kings, Vampire, Wood Elf
TIER 3: TV 1150k & 7 primary skills + 1 secondary or stacked primary
- Black Orc, Bretonnia, Chaos Chosen, Chaos Dwarf, Chaos Renegades, Dwarf, Elven Union, Imperial Nobility, Norse, Snotling
TIER 4: TV 1200k & 8 primary skills + 1 secondary or stacked primary
- Gnome, Goblin, Halfling, Khorne, Ogre
Skill/TV Trade: All tiers can trade 30k TV for one primary skill or vice versa (just once per team).
Elite Skills: No restriction or tax on elite skills.
Examples:
- Lizardmen can have 1120k TV and 7 primary skills OR 1150k TV and 6 primary skills using the skill/TV trade
- Chaos Chosen can have 1150k TV and either 7 primary skills and 1 secondary on different players, OR 8 primary skills from which one can be stacked as a second skill on one player. Secondary skills are not allowed to be stacked.
Allowed Inducements
- Biased Referee: Dodgy League Rep
- Blitzer's Best Keg(s)
- Bribes
- Halfling Master Chef
- Mortuary Assistant
- Plague Doctor
- Riotous Rookies
- Team Mascot
- Wandering Apothecaries
- Weather Mage
Star Players
- Only allowed for stunty teams: Gnome, Goblin, Halfling, Ogre, Snotling
- Star Players are included to the minimum of 11 players per team
- Both teams can have the same star(s) playing each other
- Maximum 2 star players can be hired
- Banned star players: Bomber Dribblesnot, Cindy Piewhistle, Hakflem Skuttlespike, H'thark the Unstoppable, Jordell Freshbreeze, Morg 'n' Thorg
- To gain access to star players, team loses its Secondary/Stacked skill
- In addition, team loses 1 primary skill for each beginning 100k spent on stars in total
Example: Halfling team wants to hire star players Deeproot Strongbranch and Rowana Forestfoot. In addition to paying the 280k + 160k TV for them, the team loses the 1 secondary/stacked skill to gain access to star players, and loses 5 primary skills due to the total cost of hired stars (440k). Thus they would have 760k TV and 3 primary skills for the remainder of their roster. They can still use the skill/TV trade to use either 790k TV with 2 primary skills or 730k TV with 4 primary skills.
