Premise
Oneonta is the city of hills and the local Duchess is hosting a romantic style blood bowl event. They have their finest match maker in the Duchy ready to pair off lucky knights in order to find them their perfect pair or their forever rival! Crystal Roses will be awarded to the winners of the event and maybe, just maybe, this event will hold the key to true love!
General Structure
Tournament Structure and Scoring
The Heart Hills Cup is a 3-round swiss resurrection tournament. Team rosters are fixed, and all casualties and injuries are repaired between rounds. This tournament uses the Blood Bowl 2025 rules and the NAF 2025 Tournament rules. Coaches score points each round as follows:
Win: 60 pts
Draw: 20 pts
Loss: 0 pts
Bonus Points
Love Bomb= +5pts (Win by 2+ TDs)
Heartbreaker= +5 Points (inflict 5 or more casualties on your opponent)
The One that Got Away= +5 Points (lose by only 1 TD)
Tie Breakers

Team Creation
1200gp to build your team and purchase inducements! All inducements are legal except the Wizard and Prayers to Nuffle.

Special Rules
At the start of 1 game each coach will receive a Box of Chocolates (Bretonnian Pastries as described on page 13 of Spike! Issue 19).
At the start of game 2 each coach receives a Memory Box (Canopic Jar as described on page 13 & 14 of Spike! Issue 20)
At the start of game 3 each coach receives a Romantic Wingman (Bretonnian Damsel as described on page 13 of Spike! Issue 19) as well for the duration of the game. This Bretonnian Damsel can only use the High Winds ability.
The Bretonnian Weather & Kick-Off Table will be used (as described on page 15 of Spike! Issue 19).
Prizes
Crystal Rose Trophies will be awarded for the following categories as:
1st Place - Team with the best record. Tiebreakers: overall tournament score, Delta in Cas, Delta in TD, Cas inflicted, TD Scored, Coin flip.
2nd Place - Team with the second best record. Tiebreakers: overall tournament score, Delta in Cas, Delta in TD, Cas inflicted, TD Scored, Coin flip.
Most Toxic - The team with the most casualties inflicted
Best Dressed - best painted as voted on by all participants
Short King Award - top-ranked stunty team
Sweetheart Award - team with least casualties inflicted
