You CAN buy players, coaches, cheerleaders, fans, inducements, star player (only 1), apothecaries.
Allowed Inducements: (0-1) Team Mascot, (0-1) Weather Mage, (0-3) Bribes (yes teams with Bribery and Corruption special rule is 0-6), (0-2) Blitzer’s Best Kegs, (0-1) Halfling Master Chef, (0-1) Righteous Rookies, (0-1) Mortuary Assistant, (0-1) Plague Doctor
After you buy 11 players you can buy a Star player (each team can only hire a max of one star player).
After that you can add One primary skill to a hired player (NOT to a star player).
It is encouraged, not required, to select one of the new skills.
Warning: Nuffle will be present, expect some random events.
Tournament Rules:
This Event will use the weather chart in the rule book, each table sets their own weather.
Yes we are using the new 2025 / season 3 rules.
3 games in one day. 1st Round will be random pairings. Rounds 2, and 3 will be Swiss pairing.
-The Kickoff table in the 2025 / Season 3 Rulebook will be used.
-All teams in the rule book can be played, also High Elfs and Slann.
-Tournament will be a resurrection style tournament. So any injuries your team suffers will not carry over to the next game, and any SPPs they earn will also be erased. The roster you start the tournament with will be the same for each round you play.
-Coaches will have 1100000 TV limit on building their rosters. Teams MAY use star players
Illegal Procedure:
In the spirit of good sportsmanship, Illegal Procedures will not be called.
The Tournament Moderator will give time warnings.
Please be a sporting coach and play at a pace that will allow you to finish your games.
Scoring:
Win=60 points
Tie=25 points
Loss= 0 points
Tie Breaker: Net TD’s plus Net Casualties. If Needed Opponent strength schedule.
Sportmanship:
Sportsmanship is not encouraged from the coaches, it is required! To make sure that everyone who attends will have fun.
The Tournament directors will issue a warning to anyone who is taking away from the fun environment we are looking for. If the behavior continues you will be asked to leave the tournament. Arguing with the tournament directors or in any way showing them up can also result in a warning.
***An important note on sportsmanship: Fouling 16 turns in a row or running up the score is not poor sportsmanship. But gloating and ridiculing your opponent while doing so is. Remember we are here to have a good time.
