When FlyingDingle won the Cabbage Cup, being this years Champion with the deftly named, Champions of Dypareunia, The Cabbage Cup Coronation was officially halted. This has caused sea change in Oshire, an increased presence of greenskins and rats coming through town and putting the citizenry at unease. They’ve even increased their security and hired a mercenary band called Da Fendlings, to help bring order back to the area. This year it feels as if the future of Oshire hangs in the balance, spirits are high but what would another Underworld win mean for their way of life. Concept Notes The idea behind Cabbage Cup, its list building and stars is to encourage novel ways to build teams, and hopefully those teams will have a somewhat amateur feel to them as they might not be loaded with every position. They may even require some of the local talent to join just to get the team to a full roster. The additional money for skills and inducements for coaches is to allow teams to make their own “star”, or represent a budding sponsorship trying to back the right team to get some publicity. -THE RULES- TIERING IS FINAL •Each Coach will have 1,020,000 - 1,140,000 to spend depending on the tier of the race chosen and must hire a minimum of 11 players. Any unspent cash at roster creation will be lost and all teams will be considered having the same Current Team Value (CTV) for the purpose of inducements and prayers to Nuffle. • Cash given is also used to buy rerolls, assistant coaches, cheerleaders, apothecary and any inducements in Spikes, Deathzones. No Mercenaries, No Prayers to Nuffle and No special play card. • This is a resurrection tournament, so no SPP are gained, and injuries, casualties or deaths do not carry on from one game to other. • Undead and Necromantic teams are allowed to apply the Masters of Undeath special rules. Players added to a team roster through a game as a result of those special rules are removed from the roster at the end of that game. • Teams will consist of a minimum of 11 players and a maximum of 16 players, including star players. • Star players can be induced to bring your team up to 11 players, teams may only have two star players • Star players can’t be given extra skills from the team’s skill budget. Traditional Star Players don’t want to make the trek and the wider fanfare is little for this “budding” exhibition. To reflect this star players in addition to their hiring fee - charge an extra 20k and Mega-stars charge an extra 40k - Star Player highlander rule is in effect. Additional local stars - have no additional fee for hiring, just their base cost. Olde Pawpaw, Porky Rootins, Gregarious Applebottom, Woodrell Harrelsun, Mudbit are more of a concept than a specific person, anyone with enough liquid courage could don the berserker helm or alternatively strip down and grease up in order to be drafted onto an exhibition team. If both teams have one of these same stars nothing adverse happens. For this tournament there will be no restrictions other than your team’s gp value to make your team (except no mercenaries). Each player can have up to 6 upgrades including stats, and no stat may be upgraded more than twice (star players are not eligible). Costs are as follows: Primary skill 20k Secondary skill 40k +1 AV 10k +1 MA 20k +1 PA 20k +1 AG 30k +1 ST 60k Elite Skills will cost an Additional +10k a piece. Those skills are - Block, Dodge, Mighty Blow, and Guard -The Tiers- Tier 1 teams will have 1,020,000 gold to build their team Amazon, Lizardmen, Old World Alliance, Vampire, Wood Elf Tier 2 teams will have 1,060,000 gold to build their team Dark Elf, Necromantic, Norse, Orc, Shambling Undead, Chaos Dwarf, High Elf, Imperial Nobility, Tomb Kings, Underworld Denizens Tier 3 teams will have 1,080,000 gold to build their team Elven Union, Dwarf, Human, Nurgle, Skaven, Black Orc, Brettonians, Chaos Chosen, Chaos Renegades, Khorne Tier 4 teams will have 1,140,000 gold to build their team and also Receive A Heady Brew inducement Gnomes, Goblin, Halfling, Ogre,Snotlings, lizards with no saurus, underworld with no skaven -Special Tournament Rules and Stars - If at any time a Coachrolls Double cabbage (youll be using cabbage cup dice which have a cabbage on the 6 side) theyll resolve the rest of activation of the active player then follow the Thrown Cabbage special rule. In the case of a tie, nothing happens. Thrown Cabbage - Each Coach Rolls a d6 and adds their fan factor, the losing coach will randomly select a player, who has a cabbage thrown directly at their head. Treat as a Stab against that player with no additional modifiers - this may never cause a turnover. Cabbage Cup Star Players!
