Special Tournament Rule
The Blood Bowl foodie’s association decided to create some amazing Portuguese sausages and send some to each team, so that they would give them to one of their players for them to try the sausages and see if they liked them. Unfortunately, the sausages had quite some unexpected results, depending on the sausage they ate, they get some benefits and drawbacks:
Linguiça
It is very tasty and good for the soul, but it makes you kind of slow.
Benefits: The player gets -1 AG, 2 primary skills, 1 Secondary Skill
Drawbacks: -1 MV and Loner 3+
Chouriço de Carne
It makes you strong like an ox, but you also get so addicted that you are more fragile.
Benefits: The player gets +1 ST, 2 Primary Skills
Drawbacks -1 AV and Loner 3+
Salsicha Toscana
Makes you want to run and find a restaurant with a good Churrasquinho, but also very gassy.
Benefits: The player gets +1 MV, Pro, 2 Primary Skills, 1 Secondary Skill
Drawbacks: -1 ST, Loner 3+
Morcela
Made of blood, it’s not a sausage everyone loves, but it makes you very though. On the other hand, it might also have some unexpected effect on your body.
Benefits: The player gets +1 AV, Iron Hard Skin, 1 Primary Skill, 2 Secondary Skills.
Drawbacks: +1 AG, Loner 3+
Each team was only allowed to try one type of sausage, and only by a player who is not a positional or a big guy and doesn’t have any extra skills.
All other players in the team are jealous of their colleague being able to taste the deliciousness of the sausages, so they get animosity 2+ towards this player (on a roll of a 1 they refuse to give him the ball).
Max Stat rules of blood bowl still apply to these players (e.g.: there can’t be a player with MV 10).
The Leader skill cannot be given as a part of the bonus.
Block + Dodge, Wrestle + Dodge, Mighty Blow + Tackle, Sneaky Git + Dirty Player and Mighty Blow + Claw stacks are not allowed for the special player, even if some of the skills are natural to the player.
